I am trying to start a petition for major companies to make infant/child formula more affordable for families....Currently the rate is 20 - 25$ per can. which lasts approx. 4-6 days...depending on how u use it. I'd like to know if you'd sign a petition like that, and if anyone knows how do i do it through email. How do I keep track of the petition, so that once i have thousands of signatures, how do I keep track of it. Can u let me know soon. Thanks a million!!

I have a very intelligent 5 year old daughter who used to be the sweetest child. She has the "daddy's girl" problem. Anytime that I have disciplined her and taken something away her dad always gives it back and says, "Is your mommy being mean to you?" Then lets her do what I said that she couldn't. Now anytime I tell her to do something she will not listen because "I'm not the boss!!!! Daddy is!!" HELP!!!!!!

I use the discipline that I am supposed to I dont let them hit on each other or run wild but yet it seems all i do is get on to them cus they are doing this stuff all the time. They tare up things all the time and they constantly tell me that they hate me and want to live with their father. should a 3 and 5 year old be saying things like that? What can I do besides putting them on time out and taking things away from them for discipline?open to suggestions here cuswha ti am doing is not working.

My son's best friend is the neighbor across the street. They are only a few months apart but the boy across the street seems a couple years older by size and attitude. He is a nice enough boy but he does not respect his mom, or me for that matter and my son is picking up on this behavior. They go to kindergarten together and sometimes play after school. When it is time to go home from school or from his friends house my son's does a big scene and bursts into tears and screams he wants to go to his friends house or wants to stay. Which is normal enough, except this other boy will start kicking or hitting his mom or refuse to leave our house unless my son goes with him. His mom is a good friend of mine and I am torn on what to do. Today my son, my neighbor and the boy went to an outdoor christmas function. My son would not listen to me the moment we met up with them and both kids darted out into traffic. My husband and I are thinking of switching schools and refusing the 2 play.

I see how some people are on here calling people ignorant and stupid and then they claim they are the number one parents in the world. Don't you think that their kids will be as rude as they are?
How can they jump onto their own kid if their kid calls another kid dumb when they do the (the parents) same?

I am a mother of five with one on the way and sometimes things can get a bit hectic at home, I am not obsessive about cleaning at all nor am I very materialistic but I am house proud and I like a tidy house. My kids are all responsible for their own rooms and they do a good job but the house always has a cluttered feel to it.
Recently my husband and I visited friends out of town for a night, and despite having seven kids under 15 they were able to entertain us in a lovely clean and comfy room a luxury I never have at home.
My friend informed us that they have what are called "kids free" zones it includes their bedroom,a large living room and other areas they decide on.The kids are not allowed in these rooms. Is this weird? The idea is nice but realistically is it unfair to exclude my 12&13 yr old from rooms in their own home?It would have to be one rule for all with no exceptions.Do any of you exercise a rule like this in your home?

Well, today me and my Son were at my Mother-in-Law's House. My Son was playing around her Christmas tree and I was watching him when all of sudden my Son grabbed a glass ornament and thru it on the floor braking it. It happened so quick that I wasn't able to prevent it even though I was watching him at the same time. My Mother-in-Law comes running and starts making a big deal telling me that I need to be a good Mother and teach my son NO. (My Son is 14 months) which I already do but it all happened so fast. She also told me that to not let him do whatever he wants in other people's homes and only in ours. I totally agree with that statement but I think she went a little overboard with insinuating that I'm not a good Mom because my Son broke one of her ornaments. She also claimed that he could have got seriously injured as well. When I offered to sweep up the mess she said No and that she's only one who can clean it right. Who's right and who's wrong?

Me and his mom searched his room the other day and found nothing bad/illegal. but i still have my doubts and worries about him. Is this normal or is something serious going on?

Our kids are only 3 and 4. They usually have grandparents babysit them but this time they have to have a sitter they have never had before. They have only been babysat by people other than family about 4 or 5 times. I have never had this girl babysit. Should I tell her no boys over or should I assume she already knows this. Should I ask her what kind of food and drink she likes so she can have it while she is over. I know she has experience. She is coming over today to meet my boys. Friday is when she will be babysitting. I'm so inexperienced in this I'm just wondering what to ask, and I want her to enjoy babysitting for them too.
