I think you mean somthing else. SIDS only affects infants. Did you mean SARS? I hope not, I thought that was all gone!!!

Do you mean SARs or RSV?
The RSV isn't to worry about since he isn't an infant.
The SIDS isn't to worry about since he isn't an infant.
and the SARs...Stay away from ill chickens or countries that have it.

unless you live in an area where SARS is really an issue or travel to those areas, I think that you need to look at this realistically. It is highly unlikely to catch the disease in the US.

Put him on his back to sleep, they really don't know what causes SIDS, but are doing study to see if it is sleep apnea in babies. They have a web site with lots of information, check it out.

THERES NOTHING YOU CAN REALLY DO BUT HAVE A REALLY GOOD MONITER CHECK ON THE BABY CONSTANTLY MAKE SURE THE BEDDING IT TIGHTLY SECURE ON THE BED AND WHAT NOT NO ONE REALLY EXACTLY KNOWS WHERE SIDS IS FROM GOOD LUCK ITS VERY SCARY TO THINK ABOUT
