my son will be 7 months old, september 3rd and because he is not sitting up unsupported by himself, i am not ready to give him finger food like his pedetrician says. Mommy's know best!!! When i do try him out on first finger foods, what should they be? wheat bread? diced peaches? slices of bananas? gerber wagon wheels, fruit and veggie puffs, are they easy to dissolve? i heard plain ricecakes are good to start and frozen bagels, has anyone ever done that? i think cheerios, he would choke on...he only has 2 teeth and they are not totally there yet.

My little boy (2 1/2) likes using his potty & wearing big-boy pants, the problem is when we go for a walk or a picnic in the woods, I put him back in a diaper which he hates.
He cant hold on for long & often does'nt need to go before we leave the house. We live in a rural setting & used to enjoy getting out & about but now neither of us are keen.
Please help. lol. Emma xx

My son is 4 and ready for pre-school, but if I leave this marriage now, my son has to be in all day care. My husband came after my son, so he's not his dad. The marriage has been traumatized by his lies and his lack of self control. There is no trust and it is deeply unhappy. NOTHING has improved in two years. I am his third wife and hindsight is 20/20. Do I tough it out for two more years...or have my son attend daycare and get on with my life? I am an educated ex-professional turned stay at home mom. My son is an only child and the I have only been at home with him since last fall. I would like to return to work regardless, but am concerned about how it will affect my son. There is no yelling or fighting in front of my son, but I worry that he senses the tension and I also notice that he is inreasingly withdrawing from my husband. My son has great relationship with his real dad, although we never married.

Hi,my name is Hailie and I'm 9.I have a little sister Mellanie, she is 2 years old.We live with mommy,we don't know where dad lives(mom and dad separated when she was pregnant with Mellanie).we aren't a rich family, yes,we have computer but that's because mommy works all day and she cannot hire a babysitter. We don't even have grandparents.Usually she goes to work at 8 o'clock in the morning and comes back at 6pm.It's OK for us,because I really have fun playing with Mellanie. But I have some friends from school and I want to go out with them but I always have to babysit Mellanie and I want you to help me.Please, tell me how can I go out of the house without mommy's permission(I have to be sure she won't know I'm out).I can leave Mellanie for an hour or two, while she's sleeping in her cot(she cannot go out of it without help). And tell me when I go out should I leave anything with Mellanie in the cot(maybe her favourite toy,but anything else?)?

Im sorry, I forgot that i was talking to EVERYONE around the world. Well in our state we have this "so called law now" that we cannot take photos of our children in a sporting event. Thats how dumb our laws are now, you cant even wipe your ass, and someone has it on the front of the newspaper. We have a lot of pediphiles in this country, yes including preists. but i dont think anyone should take that right away from a parent. Im totally forgot about the other countrys on this site.

what is the difference between your child being photographed by a modeling agency and having your parents taking photos of you at your sports day. My children are only 3 and 9 months old, but by the time they go to school and have their sports day no one is telling me i cant take photos of them. Im a mother not a pediphile. I think that it is quite pathetic that they can take that away from a child. They will have nothing to look back on or show their own kids what they did when they were young. Shame Shame Shame on you. Why dont they concentrate on the real sickos out there instead of parents.

My daughter Julia is 12 and I usually leave her alone at home. That's probably illegal but I think she needs to learn how to take care of herself. And if I didn't leave her alone, how would she be able to do sex with her boyfriend? He is 16 and his grandmother is usually at his home,so they can't do it there. But when they ask me I go out and let them be teenagers. So why is it illegal t leave 12-year-old girl alone?

My son has had night terrors for a couple of years. I have talked to his pediatrician, but I really just got the medical advice, not advice from a parent. He wakes up screaming and saying things that make no sense at all. He just came in here screaming "Moma, moma, please don't! Please let me go with you!" and he did it one time where he came in screaming and saying "I need two more!" (dont know what that was about) and even tried to run out the front door. Anyone else has a child that does this and to this extreme. He has these episodes about 1-2 times a month.

I have three children 7,6 and 2 months.I was wondering is it terrible to sleep during the day.On the weekends my husband works 40 hours straight thru.So he leaves at 8am Sat.,and does not come home until Sun.at 12am.I have no transportation,we only have one car.The baby keeps me up during the night, plus the night is my time to relax ,and do whatever I want.I usually set cereal out for the kids the night before, cause they can manage by themselves.I wake up on and off,and talk to them also taking care of the baby when he wakes. The kids usually play games in my room on the tv or lay with me plus help me with the baby.I just feel bad sometimes, but I get depressed and worn out more easily if I dont get my sleep or my time. What do you think?

I threw up the other night and she asked me this morning if I've been having "sexual relations" (cause I guess she thought I was throwing up cause I was pregnant [I was throwing up cause I was SICK]).
Like seriously, what the ****. (I DON'T have "sexual relations".)
