that is a very pretty doll. Since the price is not too high , I would say go ahead and let her play with it. Just explain to her how fragile it is. There is no need to keep it in the box unless you are a serious collector and plan to resell for more money. Kids don't understand why they would have a pretty doll that they could only look but not touch. She would love it and it would teach her how to be responsible and care for such a fragile doll.

Does she want to play with it? If she does than just explain to her how fragile the glass parts are and that she has to be really careful, and let her play with it. If she is not really interested in playing with it right now then just leave it in the box and display it in her room. Nothing meaner than a child getting a gift and not being able to play with it..lol Let her make the choice.

If you bought the doll for her and for her to be happy, then give it to her. Let her play with it. If she truly admires the doll, she will keep it safe. What matters is that you got it for her and not yourself.

that's not our decision to make in the first place. why would you buy something like that and then wounder if yor duaghter should play with it. juss get her a babrbie for watever it acost at wal*mart orsomething. she's a kid..they will play with anything.ANYTHING!

looks fragile she might break it and get hurt...just use it as decoration. OR BUY HELMET FOR THE DOLL.....lol..funny...
DOES SHE LIKE DOLLS? IF SHE IS VERY CAREFUL THEN SHE CAN PLAY WITH IT...USUALLY I GO OUT AND BUY THE DOLLS FOR MYSELF...YUP...I HAVE NO GIRLS I HAVE TWO BOYS.
