What I did was took 4 bowls of coolwhip and plastic tablecloth, fruit.thaw out coolwhip, put the tablecloth on table, throw coolwhip on table cloth (spread it around)hide the fruit within, with one strawberry,or your choice, tell kids to put hands behind there back, first one to find the strawberry with their teeth wins.Make sure they eat a meal first or you'll have kids not feeling so good!My kids enjoyed it so well they still talk about it.

PLAY HIDE AND SEEK IN THE DARK. Have lights on. Turn all lights off and person counts to 20. You must seek them out in the dark. Once found, you touch them and say gotcha. If you ifnd all but one in 5 minutes, the first one you found has to be it. If you find everyone, the last person you find is it.
Next, I spy. One person picks out something in the room, and puts it to memory. Then everyone tries to guess what it is by the clues you give.
Another old favorite is simply doing exercises. See who can do things such as most situps etc in 30 seconds.

Play Doh is the most fun for the least amount of money. Kids love it and it's really cheap. Hide and seek. Board games. Play with them and their toys. Make crafts. Have them help you do work around the house, cook things, etc.

Read. It's amazing how fast the time can go when you read a book. Both the child and you benefit from the cuddle time. It also increases vastly the child's potential in school if they are read to regularly when they're little.
