Our first child is due in January ... cold weather and our house do NOT get along the best. We do not have weather proof windows or walls. Are there any suggestions on how to keep a newborn warm for a few months?
Thanks!

I am taking penicillen and cough medicine prescribed by my doctor. My milk supply is REALLY low. It feels like I am drying up. How do I increase supply quickly?

I am interested in buying them for my baby and was wondering if the milk can be warmed in the plastic drop in piece or if it has to be warmed and then poured in. Thanks.

I would like to know when did you start feeding your infant/s? My daughter is 3 months old and I would like to start feeding her at 6 months, but many people are telling me to start now or at 4 months. She is a breastfed baby and a healthy weight, and is happy, which to me should be fine untill she is 6 months old. What do you think? Thank you all in advance...also what did you feed your infant/s? More and more people seems to be going orgnanic and homemade, whats your view?

My son is almost six months old. He will be in like ten days or so... He is very clingy and freaks out whenever I walk out of the room. He doesn't want to be held all of the time, he just wants to see me in his view. He is my first child and I'm not sure if he is spoiled or just a mama's boy. I am a single parent, but the father and I still talk and he sees his daddy a lot, but he still wants me all of the time. Even when he is with his father. Today, for instance, his father watched the baby while I ran to the store and when I came back, the baby started crying because I walked passed him even though he was in his father's arms. What does this mean. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal for single parents and their children? I'm not trying to break the strong bond between us, I just need to know if he is spoiled or anything. And if he isn't, what is some advice on how to not spoil him? If that makes any sense. Haha Thanks In Advance!

My 4 month old hates his carseat! I just do not understand what it is. I have checked it over and over to make sure nothing is hurting him or scratching him. Did you baby ever go through this? Did they get over it. My husband and I were thinking of going out and buying a new seat to see if he will do better in that one. He just cries and cries and cries, sometimes to the point of screaming. We have a LONG trip ahead of us, do any of you have any suggestions? PLEASE!

I am 28 wks pregnant with my second child. In my first pregnancy, I was never successful at breastfeeding - he had complications that prevented him for doing it right away and after using a bottle for a while, we could never get the hang of it. I pumped milk for 6 weeks and gave that to my child, but that was all I could do.

This time, I want to be able to breatfeed. I feel a little guilty that I might be giving one child something better than I gave the other. Has anyone felt that way? How did you overcome it?

I feel like a beginner and don't have clue as to what it will be like and how to get through the hard part. Any personal experiences or any advice?

name 4 games you can play with babies younger than 3 months..
-materiales/toys aren´t allowed
-just singing isn´t enough, a song is not a game
-neihter is singing and making movements, because the baby can´t imitate them.
-no tickling, because such a small baby can not respond to it
-no kikaboo game

please keep in mind such a small baby can hardly do anything
we have this asigment and all the games students came up with were not approved...the teacher is very demanding...

I had my baby 2 weeks ago. He was 9 lbs 5oz. My bleeding was heavy at first and has now slowed to something that resembles and medium menstrual cycle. However, the exception is that it seems that every time I breastfeed as soon as I stand up to put the baby back in his bed it feels like I've just wet myself! I go to the bathroom to find that I'm again having a heavy bleed. It slows down again within 30 minutes...is this normal? Is the bleeding being caused by uterus contracting while I'm feeding?

I'm a new mom and my son is 5 1/2 months old. He's a big boy weighing 18 lbs and 28 inches long. Here are my questions:

1. My doctor gave us the go ahead to start solids about 3 weeks ago. I fed him rice cereal with his 2nd bottle each day for a week. Then we started veggies. He seems to love solids so now he eats 1 tbsp of rice cereal in the morning and 1/2 jar of veggies at night. He has 5 bottles about 6 ozs each a day. Am I on the right track? How do I know when to start giving him more?

2. My son is also teething. There are some days when he doesn't want to drink as much formula as normal. Is this normal for a teething infant?

3. He was sleeping through the night fine but now is waking at about 2 or 3 am. I can get him back to sleep only i I put him in bed with my husband and I. Then he'll sleep til 8 or 9 am. Am I creating a bad habit or should I do what needs to be done to get him to sleep?

I think that's it for now...lol. Thanks for the help.

Yesterday my 13 month old daughter started grabbing something "imaginary" out of this little bucket she has and was giving it to me. I played along and pretended to eat it as if it was raisins or whatever. She loved that and kept pretending to give me more of the "nothing!" :)
Is that normal at her age?

I have a 6 month old son who is on breast milk. I once requested my husband to suck off my breast when it was very full and my son wasnt feeding. Ever since then, he has developed a strong liking for my milk and wants a feed every night. Is it ok for adults to drink breast milk regularly after finishing feeding the baby?

ok so we all know our boobs, especially nipples, change during pregnancy and eventually resume to their original size and color...
well my right nipple is lightening and getting smaller...like they were before my baby...but my left one hasn't changed at all! will it catch up or am i just going to have freaky nipples forever? lol
i don't know if this has anything to do with it but before i stopped breastfeeding i got engorged once. my left boob was more engorged than my right. significantly more. but, i never ran a fever or anything. i just thought maybe that damaged my left boob or something and has some how effected it returning to normal?
thanks

How do I teach him to? We have 4 different kinds and he just doesn't seem to know how to do it. I tried to take out the non spil insert from the inside so he would know there is something inside, but he just wouldn't try to suck. I tried juice, milk and water, no succes. He is 8 months old and bottle fed.
