You should reread The Ugly Duckling.
Some ugly babies turn out to be real beautiful people when..oh, I don't know.. when they actually take shape? To me, all babies look alike. That's why everyone's so freaked out if the babies get messed up in the hospital.
And some cute babies turn out to be ugly people grown-up. I think the heart manifests itself. No one is actually born ugly. If someone who's been through alot of unhappiness throughout his life, always thinking bad thoughts, always sullen and angry-the person who was born cute might grow up to be not attractive from all the bad thoughts. (Spiritual? Realistic? Philosophical? You decide) And when he starts to look like his parents. Even then it might not turn out all as you expect. Some ugly parents can have beauties, while some attractive parents can sometimes have uglies...

Lol, I normally try not to because it's not their fault that they probably inherrited their parent's looks, but gosh there are some scary ones out there. I girl I worked with before she got fired had an ugly baby....
I don't make fun of them though(I keep it to myself), it could come around to bite me in the @$$ when I have a child...

I think babies are cute in general... just cuz their babies. But I do know exactly what you are talking about. My hubby & I are blessed with an absolutely perfect, gorgeous baby girl. We will be in the store, in the baby section and of course you run into other babies. I dont think I actually say how adorable unless they are really adorable.... usually I'll just say hi and try to get my daughter to say hi. LOL

That reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where a guy Elaine liked said a hideous looking baby was cute and then said she was cute - she wasn't sure how to take it! And yes - it happens all the time!

Yes, but I first think and say hey that baby is not so ugly he/she has her blessing and personalities to make him/her suceed in life and in the dating game.
Example:
Mcaully Caulkin(or whatever,hard name..lol)
He was so cute and adorable until he grew.
EWWWWWWWWW.
But is ok S*** happens.

Yup..a girl i was friends with in high school..but was a slutty *****...had a kid and i never saw it..and she would always call me talking bout how beautiful her daughter is acting cool..and i finally seen a picture...and she has this huge square forehead a mile long looked like a alien only worse...took after her mother for that huge *** head to...im not mean.. i dont talk bout anyone else like this...trust me this girl was is and always will be a *****!
