How young/old does a baby have to be before you can put him in highchair???

my daughter is now 6 months. I have been trying to have her weaned by oct 1st. I am not doing well. I can't pump and she just chews on the bottle and laughs at me when I give it to her. Is it because she doesn't like the formula? Or because she doesn't understand the bottle??? Help!!! Any help would be great.

My daughter has patches of rough skin on different areas of her body. Some are red, some are skin toned. They don't seem to bother her, and they go away a few days after i notice them. Her pediatrician said it was ring worm, and gave me a cream for it, but it doesn't do anything. It doesn't make sense to be ring worm. She's had them since she was born. And ring worm doesn't go away on it's own...Some of the spots are about dime sized, and she had one on her elbow the size of a quarter, but it's already gone. They feel rough. Not like sand paper, but more like skin thats healing from a sunburn. Does anyone know what this is? And if there's anything I can do for it?

I Have Taken Him To The Dr. 4 Times In The Last Three Weeks And They Act Like Im Some Crazy Person. They Tell Me NOTHING Is Wrong With my Son And Just Increase His Dosage For The Zantac. My Son Spits Up 4-5 Times After Each meal And Though He Is Gaining Weight its Obvious He Is Miserable. He Is Usually A Happy Baby Except For The Spitting Up. He Has These Outburst Of Crying That Will Last For Hours And That Started About A Month Ago...While Eating He Arches His Back And Screams In Pain....I KNow My Child...And I KNow This Is Not Normal. They Now Have Him Taking 1 Ml Of Zantac 3 Times A Day And Its Only Getting Worse! Im Wondering If Anyone Has Had To Deal With This Or Has Suggestions....Also He Wakes Up Everything Hours And Cries During The Night...And The Dr.s Still Try To Tell Me Nothing Is Wrong With Him.....HELP!

My son is 3 weeks old and I've been deppresed on and off.I can't sleep because I'm paranoid something will happen to the baby.When I do actually get some sleep it is light and I have nightmares that someone is trying to take the baby.When my hubby takes care of the baby and he crys(the baby) I just want to do it myself but am too tired.I feel horrible when I break down and have to take my prescribed ambien cr sleeping pills to get to sleep.I have to go back to work part time(3 hrs a day) in a few weeks.When will this end?Any advise?

Hi. Just wondering if thats normal, I have a soon to be 4 month old.. and shes never had a real messy diaper.. Not to be gross but its just ... a big hard pebble. (i know, yuck sorry) And she doesnt go every day. Like every other. Is that normal as well? She has her 4 month check up coming up and i could ask then, but i was just curious now. Thanks.

My cousin is having a baby, and she is registered on babies r us. she has other family all over the place that i dont know/cant get a hold of. what happenes if I purchase something someone else already has? I mean it is a big deal to me, considering I plan on purchasing something pretty expensive. Would she be able to return it..? I imagine not, because I will be using my credit card.

Any ideas or thoughts please?

Breast milk at night and formula during the day? My nipples are sore from breast feeding, and I thought that perhaps sparing them during the day would work better for me and the baby...but is this a good idea?

my baby girl is 9 months old and all she'll eat is petit flouis and fruit cups... anything else she just throws up, she also has a terrible habit of makin herself gag and throw up with and without her fingers! don't know what to do about her cause she has to eat more than just fruit... she love s her btls, has 3-4 7oz btls a day!!!
