It's completley normal, don't worry. It's just your hormones that are doing that. They told me that in the hospital. It does the same with girl babies as well and it also makes their privates swell and produce a discharge. Very normal no need to worry over it. It will go away very shortly

Wow you know I had the same concern with my baby boy and I can tell you It was so worry some I took him to the pediatrician immediately I was so scared and when It did not go away in a week or two weeks I kept going back ...after the doctor calming a new mom (that was completely hysterical and by the way emotional) he reassured me it was normal that like other readers told you it is just a part of your hormones and that it will surely go away....it did I cant remember surely how long I was in this agony but it did go away...so don't worry mommy things will get better :o)
but good thing you ask and always never be afraid to ask ask ask... :o)
Best regards to you and your new bundle of joy!!
:o)

It's totally normal for boy or girl babies to get swollen breast and even milk it's the hormones their bodies are trying to balance out. Relax Mom Cuddle & kiss the baby Congrats

My son had the same thing when he was about a month old, but I didn't breast feed. My doctor said it was from my hormones.

You might want to ask your doctor about it. If the baby seems sensitive in that area, or there is "liquid" under neath his boob, he might need medicine.

When my son had it his doctor gave us a prescription medicine to give him for a couple weeks and it helped the swelling completely go away.

No there isn't anything wrong. Your hormones are in his body and they are coming out. Little boys can have swollen breasts and can also have some discharge like milk from his nipples.

Ive read that babies sometimes leak milk from there nipples or have swollen breast after birth from being exposed to your hormones in the womb.

this is normal its caused by your hormones that crossed the placenta. My son actually started to lactate! Hes almost 8 weeks old and his has gone away.
