You have it right, wait a couple of days between each new food so you know what she is allergic to if a reaction does happen. And if you start a baby out on the sweet fruits, she won't feel like eating the veggies. I however didn't follow that rule too much, I alternated between a new veggie, then a couple of days a new fruit, then a new veggie, etc. It's always best to start out with the mild or what they call white food first, like mashed potatoes, applesauce, bananas, squash. These foods are less likely to cause a reaction, although anything is possible, my daughter got rashes from eating bananas when she was a baby, but she can eat them now.

Yeah start with veggies and only one at a time and give it a week to see how she does. Then try some fruit. I started with carrots cuz that is what I liked plus it has a sweet flavor to it. Just make sure you dont feed her a lot of orange foods without mixing in the greens. She will turn orange: I did when I was a baby.

Im ready to start my baby on solids too. My doc told me to feed him veggies first then move on to fruits. He also said feed him that one veggie for a week before introducing a new food. Hope this helps

I started feeding my baby both but he likes to eat the veggies than the fruits. As what my son's PD said that you have to feed your baby some veggies prior to fruits and later you can mix them with cereal as what I did now, and my baby loves it!

You are correct. Always start on veggies first . Introduce one veggie every week to two weeks.
After that you can go to the fruits while still including veggies and grains.
Yummy.

Start your little sweety on vegetables. How old is she? Don't start her too young, that's how children develop food allergies. I started my daughter out on peas. Try just peas for the first week, and then try another vegetable. If you start her out with fruit, she will never eat vegetables.

I jsut bought four things of each veggie or fruit, and fed only that one kind once a day for four days. Thats all it takes.
Start with orange things first. Carrots, peaches, sweet potato. and move on from there.

its fine to start your baby on fruit and veg but i would steer clear of cirus fruits as they tend to have more acid in them and can upset a babies stomach resulting in a lot of dirty nappies!!!!!

no feed them what you want....just use some common sense...pick a few things that seem good...start with the #1 jars and in a month if she eats alot more...go to #2..let her enjoy trying new things...you'll know if she doesnt like it and if its will make her sick or not...I have a 6 month old and she can eat alot of different #2s..good luck
