Is there some specific reason your baby is on formula still? She can be just on whole milk now. But walmart brand is good.

Walmart is a good start. Whole milk is a better bet. The fats in whole milk is good for the continued developing of the brain. You should start giving your child whole milk. If you like give with cereal, add chocolate like ovaltine, use with oatmeal. Look into vitamins for your child also.

Those later formulas are just a marketing racket. If your child has a medical problem, consider going to a specialist instead. Your child should do just fine on regular whole milk otherwise. General pediatricians get NO TRAINING in nutrition.

Unless your baby is not gaining weight properly there is no need to put a toddler on Advanced formula. Formula makers came out with this stuff in order to convince naive parents that it is better than whole milk because it keeps them spending more money than they need to. It's like car seat manufacturers recommending a child up to 4'9" needs to be in a booster...and that's bull I have an adult friend that is only 4'6" and she DRIVES!

Why spend money on formula if you don't have too...? Go to the grocery store and buy Carnation Instant Breakfast (vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry). Make it in a blender w/ ice and add a banana, strawberries, blueberries.. Whatever you want to add.. Kids love it and it's good for them..! It's also A LOT cheaper ! My kids don't gain weight and I've been giving them this and they love it.. They've gained weight, the doc. is happy and the kids are doing fine.. You can even use ice cream/milk to make it more rich for them.. I wouldn't buy formula... Good luck

No need for formula for a child of that age. Milk, if you choose, or not, if you choose. I don't give my kids milk until they are old enough to ask for it. There are studies out there that say milk is not that great for us. You know, cow milk is for cows and human milk is for humans. Ask your doctor why they recommend that for your child.

Your child is totally able to be on regular, whole milk now (full fat homogenized). He or she does not need to be on a formula, unless there was a specific medical condition.
