I have an idea for a baby shower game for my neice, however I am creatively challenged. I need a list of about 15-20 unusual ways to describe Fairy tale and Mother Goose characters. I have come up with one, but need some more for examaple:

Imprisoned lass uses follicle strands to help her true love scale her jail -Rapunzel

Keep it G-rated please, there will be children at the shower, if you can help send me some ideas

I wanted to breastfeed my brand new daughter since the day I found out I was pregnant. After my stay in the ICU and the nurses feeding her formula, it was a longer time than normal before anything at all came in for me to even be able to get out with a pump. Now, I can pump, but not that much, although I keep trying...but I really can't seem to feed her from the breast! I've worked with a lactation consultant who said "keep working at it", but my baby just can't latch on right, and it hurts when she tries because even with her mouth open as wide as possible, she's still just getting part of the nipple. I have very very large nipples and she has a very very small mouth...could that cause a problem with latching? I don't know if I can ever do this if even a consultant couldn't help me. Does anyone have advice for latching on problems? I know there's a limited amount of time you can do it. She's 9 days old. Am I too late?

We have tried everything: Different nipples (silicone/latex), different liquid (breast milk, various formulas), warming the liquid, warming the nipples, different bottles (Avent, Playtex), from mom, from dad, lying down, sitting up, in front of the TV, outside, dressed, naked, and list goes on.
Everytime we try he screams bloody murder until he tires himself (and us) out. We are afraid he will dehydrate, starve, and mom is going crazy breastfeeding all day long! She is going to lose her mind shortly...
Background: Breastfed from 0-3 weeks, bottle/breast combination from 3-6 weeks (YES! He used to take the bottle no problem a month and half ago!), breastfed exclusively ever since.

I think I'm going to get a cavity filled which will require Novocaine and I am concerned that it will affect my breast milk in a negative way.
Does anyone have any recommendations? How long will the drug remain in my system? Is it ok to breast feed afterward or should I 'pump and dump'? My Baby is exclusively breastfed so I'm wondering if I need to pump in advance and if so, how much? I've searched online but I can't seem to find any information about breast milk and dental work. Any helpful advise is welcome. Thank you!

My friend just found out her 18 month old daughter may be Autistic. I have a special needs child, but the treatment for autism is way different. If anyone out there has an autistic child, or knows anything about autism it would help.

My week-old niece is very healthy, eating well and sleeping well. We've noticed that she has a little tear at the corner of her eye, that is there continually. It doesn't look like an infection, and we were just wondering what it was, as she doesn't seem worried by it at all. Any ideas?

Just in case this helps, we're having hot, dry weather at the moment, about 35 degrees centigrade.

Thank you!

What is the real purpose of a crib bumper? We have one on our 8 month olds crib and I just don't see how it is anything but dangerous. She moves around so much that she ends up with her face pressed up against it while she sleeps and I'm afraid it may suffocate her. Can someone tell me what the reasons are for these things. Thanks

Now before everyone tells me you can't spoil a 4 month old, please read my whole situation. I agree, you can't spoil a 4 month old. That said, my husband thinks I am spoiling ours. We've been trying to get our baby to take a bottle so I can pump one every now and then and my husband and I can go on dates. A few nights ago my husband was feeding the baby from the bottle and our baby was having a hard time taking it. Our baby just hasn't gotten it down yet, in my opinion. It ended up taking him 3 hours just to get him to eat half a bottle while the baby cried the whole time and I cried in the other room listening on the baby monitor. My husband told me if the baby wouldn't take the bottle, he wasn't going to eat that night, which would mean the baby would be skipping two feedings. He put the baby to bed and said if I fed him that he would never try to give him a bottle again. Of course I caved and fed him. He got mad and said I don't let him be a parent and I override everything he tries
