Mrs Jent why are you so rude? I said my daughter is teething but none has broken through yet. She is drooling and chews on her fists and everything else! Understand the question before you answer!! I am a first time mother and I am not perfect there is a lot that I dont know and there will probably be several more times that I will have questions. I believe I am a good parent because I do ask questions. i read that you have a child and another on the way. You have put me down and questioned my parenting just because I am asking questions. We'll mabey you should try to be a little more helpful to us first time mothers and remember when you were a first time mommy.

Our boy is almost 8 months old and he has been teething for the past 4 months. We can see some in the top gum, but non have come through yet. I guess there is no hurry - he only eats second stage food, mashed fruit, oatmeal and drinks mother's milk

My first daughter was very close to being one when she got her first tooth, my second daughter was about 7-8 months. When they started though it seemed as if they all came in at once. Honestly, for about a month she would get one or two teeth a week. Oh and by the way, when they all come in at once it is great because you only have to deal with the fuss at one lump sum time but it can be very painful with one much less eight in a month. I found the BEST for my kids was oragel in a q-tip type container, you break one end off and the meds run into the tip and you rub it on and it works FAST. Good Luck.

Hi. As a matter of fact my daughter just turned 8 months this last weekend and she just got her first tooth yesterday. It's not fully out yet, but it broke the skin. I was the same way with my daughter wondering when she was going to get teeth. Don't worry, be patient, they'll come. Until then, enjoy their non-fussy days. Oh when they do start teeting there are these teething tables called Humphrey's and you can buy them at any drugstore or walmart. They work great. Also, freeze a wash cloth and let the baby chew on it. Good luck

My daughter (now 10 months) started teething around 6 months but her first tooth didn't break through until 9 months. Her second tooth broke through a couple weeks ago. However my girlfriend's baby who is three weeks older than mine got his first tooth at three months and now has 6 teeth with another one coming through as well. I know how you feel, I felt like I was waiting forever.

My daughter got her first tooth at 8 1/2 months old, the same week that she walked.

My son got his first tooth at 7 months.

They really are all different.

Reagan just got her first teeth a few weeks ago. She was just over 6 months.

According to the sheet we got at her last doc's appointment, though, anywhere up to 12 months is normal.
