i was just wondering if children have a better chance of surviving if they fall into an empty pool or a filled up pool..i know if the pool is empty the wellbeing of the child depends on how deep the pool is,.and if the pool is filled up the wellbeing of the child depends on how long he/she stays underwater... but after all i would like everybody's opinion..im only 16 but for some reason i find this question quite debatable...so pls hlp

okay...i may be a bit overprotective...but i'm a first time mommy...do you think its safe for a 6 month old to play in the yard? she's only crawling, and will stand holding onto something. i'm just scared about bugs...and okay, i admit it...dirt.

I just wanted to add things to orginial question, things that I left out. Now I do give my child fruits and veggies during the daytime. He also eats gerber snacks, crackers, toast and yogurt for snacks. Most dinner times he eats what ever me and my husband are eating. And before bed he gets oatmeal w/ baby food.

Now, to those who said that I should give him milk or something. I was told that they shouldn't drink whole milk until 12mth or later.

Also, I'd like to take the time and say thank you to all that replied to my question with helpful advice. To those who decided that they were going to put me down and make themselves sound like good parents, I'm sorry for you. I don't expect mothers to put down any other mother about there style of raising their child. Everyone is different and your ideas might not work for everyone else.

One more thing, I should've mentioned that this is my first child and that I'm trying to learn as I go.

Our first daughter used avent bottles with no problem. Our second child doesn't like them for some reason, and we are using the gerber wide bottles with a softer nipple, but much the same shape as an avent nipple, she seems to have a lot of gas though. any other good bottles? we don't want dr browns, they are to involved to put together every time.

I have identical twin boys. They sleep in seperate cribs. Both of them pull up to stand, and one of them almost gets out! He gets over stuff all over the house to get what he wants. They're only 10 months old! I thought this was way too far away from going to toddler beds. He even crawled in a toddler bed at Ikea when we were playing around and almost went to sleep! When is a normal or average time to switch to toddler beds? Are there any twin cases out there too? Thanks:)
