What colour eyes do your parents have? If one of your parents has blue eyes and one brown, then it is possible that you will have blue:brown genes for eye colour.
If thi is the case, then there is a chance that your baby will have blue eyes.

The baby will most likely have brown eyes or maybe a mix like hazel or green becaus brown eyes are a dominant gene. But, hey blue eyes could still happen! All depends on the gene factor.

it all depends on which gene is more dominate when the baby was conceived. My brother in law and sister in law just had a baby and it turned out with brown eyes and they both have blue eyes. The only person in the family with brown eyes is the father's deceased grandmother, so anything is possible.

usually darker colors take over, but it's not a fact.
plus the color of the eyes will be changing for couple years in the beginning when a baby is born, so u never know what color it would be.
I'm guessing to , I'm 36 weeks pregnant and my husband have brown eyes and i have blue, so we don't know either.

My Mum has blue eyes and my Dad has brown eyes, three of my grandparents had blue eyes, one had brown eyes - my brother and I have blue eyes so yes your baby could have blue eyes if you have a blue eye gene in your genetic make-up. However, brown is the dominant gene.

Although brown is the dominant color, you have a chance of your baby having blue eyes. Both of my neices have blue eyes while their mother has brown (father has blue, obviously). It's uncommon but not unheard of. Totally depends on your combined dominant/recessive gene makeup.

Every person has dominant and reccessive genes.
Brown is the dominant gene in this case. However, if your partner has a recessive blue gene (look at his parents.. if one has blue eyes) then your baby has a chance of getting blue eyes.. if not then its more likely to get brown eyes.
I will try to find the website which helps predict eye colour...

It could go either way. Whichever way it goes does not matter, she may not have sky blue or dark brown, she may have green. Odds are she will have either sky blue or dark brown eyes.
Hope this answers your question.

It's hard to say. Brown is the dominent colour, but it could be blue. Could be green even. It goes to more then mom & dad, take into account grandparents for instance. My son has green eyes, and me and hubby have brown eyes, I still have no idea where green came from not anyone in my family(I never met anyone from my hubby's family except his parents) but it could be back to great grandparents even.

Hmmm, I have blue eyes and my husband has dark brown. My son has his brown eyes, BUT... my husband has black hair and I have flaming red hair.. and my son has reddish brown. So his eyes are going to be either, same with the hair. his hair is darker but my son still has my hair too.
