Hardly 2 months after using my new Mercedes E200K I noticed an unpleasant odor in the air issuing from the Airconditioner for approximately 1to 2 minutes of turning it on.
The odor gradually goes off only to come back when the airconditioner is turned on again after stopping for approximately more than 4 hours. At the first service after 6 months, the Agent's Mercedes accreditted Workshop attended to the complaint but had returned the car without the defect of ill odor from the Airconditiner rectified. Now, at 8 months old the Mercedes E200K continues to issue stinking air from its Airconditioner during the first 1 to 2 minutes of start-up. It is both distressing and embarrassing to drive a stinking car relatively new with odometer indicating not more than 5000 Km!!

We just bought the baby a second crib to put in our room. We had the first one put together at the store but that cost to much so we decided to get someone we knew to put it together. My brother claimed he knew what he was doing so we let him put it together but he is such a ding bat. I am a little scared to put my daughter in the crib. Is there anyway that I can test it?

Did you get what you wanted? How did you feel if not?

*Just so you know I know a healthy baby is everyones goal....but secretly I know we all want one or the other even if it is just a tiny bit more than the other. Thank you for answering!

If my milk wont come in for a few days after I give birth... Will my baby just be extremely malnourished!?

I really don't like the idea of the alternatives to bottles, [cup feeding, spoon feeding, eye dropper or syringe, finger-feeding, ect.], but I aldo don't wan't my baby to have nipple confusion, and don't want to give him a bottle..

I only recently decided to breast feed when my baby is born [24 weeks pregnant now] and I don't know much about it.. But I'm getting scared I won't do it right and if anyone has any information I may not know or tips I would really appreciate it...

I don't want to starve my baby! Can I *only* breast feed, or do I have to give my baby supplements?

Does anyone know where to find a really good guide for starting solids? Like how many bottles, how much cereal to start with, when to go to vegetables and fruit and the amounts. Things like that!
This is my second baby and I have forgotten already!

My 3 months old baby likes to play than to eat. What can I do to let him know that he has to eat first? He will cry when I put the nipple into his mouth but smile immidiately after that if somebody talk to him. He does that even when he has not eat for 3-4 hours.

my son is 10 days old today, his umbilical cord fell off after 8 days but before it did, it smelled very bad. the doctor told me not to mess with it before i left the hospital so i never put any alcohol on it or cleaned it with water or anything, now that its fallen off, it is still gooey in the middle and it still gets little crusties on it, is this normal? i think it still had a very slight smell to it, but nothing like it was before the cord fell off. there are no other signs of infections and it isnt red and it doesnt bother him or anything, the past few days i have been dabbing alcohol on it and i dont know if it seems to help, is the cord normal to have a strong smell to it? or should i call the doctor? the cord has already fallen off but the gooey stuff in the middle is not healed yet, is this normal?

In 2003 I had my daughter. I was only 16. My grandmother took over my responsability so I could make my dreams come true. Of course grandparents spoil their grandchildren. I am now almost 21 and I am 36 weeks pregnant. I am trying to break my daughter of her sippy cup. It breaks my heart because she has been through so much. In January of this year she lost her Great-Uncle. He was her idol, her friend, her hero, and her life. That caused so much to happen to her. Then to follow, she lost her Great-Grandmother whom raised her, on May 13th. BAD DAY!!! I am a single mother and trying to figure out how I am going to have a c-section and 2 kids to take care of on my own. Right, that is my problem but that is why I am asking. She does not want to listen and acts horriable. Death is a cause I do understand. I have nobody to help me at all. Any suggestions on what I might be able to do to help her? What would you do if this was your child who lost 2 loved ones so close togather? Thank you.

If your intention is to talk me INTO breastfeeding, then move on to another answer. I have put a lot of thought into this decision, and am not going to sway the other way just because someone gives me a holier-than-thou lecture about the so-called benefits of breastfeeding.
I breastfed my oldest until she was a year old...those so-called benefits are for argument purposes only & have no true weight.
Boost immune system?...yeah right! My 3 year old has had 2 surgeries and countless rounds of antibiotics thanks to strep throat & chronic ear infections. (So that part about reduced ear infections....again, yeah right!)

I don't want to hear the lectures, I don't want to hear any statistics, and I won't read anything you have to say regarding pro-breastfeeding.

I simply would like my question answered....What extra things should I take to the hospital? I am already smart enough to know I need bottles and formula. What about other comfort measures??

My son is almost 4 months old. I believe he is starting to teeth. He gets real grumpy lately and is calm when he has a teether in his mouth. However the problem is that he can not hold it himself. If I lay him down and he has it and drops it he throws a fit. I find myself having to hold it for him when he needs it. Is there any product out there to help with this? Is there a "teething pacifier" or anything? Just need some advice on what else I can do until he can hold his own teether?

I just went to the doctor yesterday and she said I was easily 2cm dialated, 50% effaced, and the baby's head was in a -1 postion. This is my 3rd child...With my first I walk around 2cm dialated for a while, and with the second I do not remember (isnt that terrible). I am 36 weeks right now. I would love to hear other peoples stories and comments on how fast they went into labor after they started dialating, became effaced, and the baby dropped.

I am happy and welcoming to anyone touching my baby who is in my immediate family. That goes for congregants of my synogogue, who are like family to my daughter and I. However, I become very upset when strangers to us come up and touch her bare foot or hand. It makes me very angry because they are exposing her to germs.. plus who gave them the right to come up to us and start touching? This happens at WalMart, on the street, and the flea market.. you name it. I have started to tell people "you can look but do not touch" because I don't think it's anyone's right to go up to a baby and touch him/her without the parent's consent. I think it's disgusting that people feel entitled to touching others - it's intrusive and it p*sses me off. Opinions, Moms?

Okay, I'm sure I'm not the only one with two children in this world but I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful children ages 2 and 6 weeks....and I am exausted!! I'm not sure if it is our time schedules that are affecting this or what but I am looking for some tips on getting more rest with 2 children so close in age. What do you other mommies do? I seem to be so tired when my head hits the pillow I'm out and when the baby wakes up to feed, I can't seem to even hold my head up. I'm just looking for some tips on getting some more rest and maybe some scheduling tips also. Thanks!!

I read a story about a woman who was stranded with her two children, ages 7 months and 4 years, and fed them breast milk to keep them alive. If there was no more food for the mom to eat, would she still make breast milk? Would drinking her own milk help her too?
