Not without calling his Pediatrician or a pharmacist FIRST!!! He is so young, and it is better to be safe than sorry! Don't do anything without consulting one of the above first, calling a pharmacist is probably faster and cheaper, call at least 2 to get opinions.

Not unless he's seen the doctor and that's what the doctor directed you to use.

Over the counter medicines can mask other, more serious, symptoms in children under six months old. Better to see the doctor first, make sure there's nothing serious going on, and find out if he's okay with you using it.
(Although, there's no real proof the OTC stuff works.)

Don't give a baby that young any medication without checking with the doctor. Why is he coughing? Also, read the label carefully.

NO!! It's been all over the news lately that over the counter children's cold medicines are not safe for infants under 2.
