My son is 10 months old. Lately he seems to be "forgetting" things he used to do. Like he used to always wave bye bye to people leaving but now he won't do it anymore just on rare occasions. Also he is in a Baby Signs class and he used to do about 5 or so signs. He won't really do those anymore either although he does do new ones that he learns. He used to give kisses when you would hug him too. He still does something all the time though like if you ask him to find things. IE: "where's mommy or daddy?" he'll go up to us and he knows how to find the dogs, cat, fan, light and other things. But that is the only thing he continually "remembers" He is learning because he does do new things everyday, it's just hard to get him to do anything he used to do.

Okay my 10 month old dd is going to start a new daycare on Monday and she has been with the same lady in-home daycare since she was 3 months old. We have had some small issues with the lady, and just would like our dd to be with more kids her age and have a sort of schedule. I am so worried about how long she will cry. She has separation anxiety really bad even when a grandparent comes to babysit, she will cry and cry. Now there will be 8-9 other 12 month olds, and 1 other that is 1 month younger than her at the daycare with 2 teachers. the younger ones mom will be one of the teachers. Right now she is only around 3 other kids, which are 15 month old, 4 year old and a 2 year old, then the 10 year old grandson. I am just worried she might get overwhelmed at first. Has anyone else had this situation?? Do you think it might change her whole behavior cause right now she is a great, happy baby?

can you put blankets over babies? my neighbour told me that they can suffocate with blankets so she put her twins in thick body suits for the winter and light body suits for the summer. is this ok or will they get cold? can you tell i'm a first time mum?

when or is it even possible to stop using the baby bumpers for my just turned 1 year old in her crib? Reason I ask is she has broken a second pair now (I'd have to buy another) and spills milk all over them - her bottles drip the milk when she is done. She is not ready for a bed yet at all either.

OK, here's what you need to do, put the title of your favorite lullaby and then the lyrics to it...please don't repeat someone else's, pick another one you like. Thanks so much in advance!!! Let's see how many people we can get to post a different lullaby

I know that the water for an infant to bathe should be around 90 - 95 degrees....but what about a pool? I purchased an inflatable kid's pool , big enough for me to get in with her , but how do you monitor the water temp. in it? Should I leave it out all day to warm it up? Or is it okay to put a baby in cooler water being that the outdoor temp. is warmer?

She is 4 months old...I will probably wait until around 5-6 months anyway , but still need ideas.

My daughter wakes up every couple of hours and nothing my wife and I do to get her to fall asleep again works. We try singing to her and rocking her and giving her the pacifier which she refuses. The only thing that works night after night is giving her a bottle. Last night she drank two and we hardly got any sleep. She used to wake up screaming when she was a month old because, as it turned out, she is lactose intolerant. But she started sleeping through the night once we switched her formula. Later she would wake up when she lost her pacifier and fall back asleep once we put it back in, but this started about a month ago.
