.......not to breastfeed anymore, when it prevents allergies, increases a child's IQ and so many more benefits ???
Remember , what happened recently with the pet food, the same could happen with the formula, what would you do ,if your baby died from it ??? Would you sue the company , it wouldn't bring your child back ?.......

People say to buy diapers all sizes but what if your baby skips a size or two? What else would you recommend? What did you start buying at first i.e. clothes, diapers, wash products, etc.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and trying to decide what we will use for birth control once the baby is born since I plan on breastfeeding. I know there are certain birth control pills you can take while nursing, but I am worried about whether or not they are really safe. I don't always trust research, since a lot of drugs are taken off the market years down the road because they decide they are now unsafe. I guess I'm just looking for a little advice from anyone with experience.

My baby just recently got used to eating baby food from a jar and she does very well with it. Considering she just turned 8 months this week I thought I'd try to give her some finger foods. Crackers, teething biscuits and recently I tried graduates finger foods. I thought the graduates puffs would be good because they are suppose to melt in the babies mouth, however each time I have tried to give her these she gags and chokes and has even thrown up. She doesnt really get the concept of chewing because she can swallow the jar food without chewing even though she has 4 teeth. She has 2 uppers and her 2 lowers. I'm concerned about this because my friends say she should be eating some table food by now. The only thing I give her is formula 4-5 times a day and jar food twice a day. She's 20 pounds so she's not malnurished. I'd appreciate some advice from anyone that has gone through this before. Thanks

Her diapers are being changes as soon as she "goes". My daughter is 6 month old and is teething (she cut two teeth a few days apart). Could that be it? Could it be her food (she is on formula and solids. Any suggestions?

We are worried that she will crawl around in the residue, then stick her hands in her mouth and ingest it....there has to be a safe way to protect our home without endangering our infant!

My ped said it was ok to start solids on my 4 mon baby and I have been dealing with the rice cereal for 2 wks now, and she said to later introduce green veggies, when should I do that? What veggie? Also, did your ped give you a food chart, My doc didn't give me one, where can I get one?

My daughter just turned 1 and on Mon at the Pedi office, she weighed 14 lbs. She is a breast fed baby and during the day she is fed formula and baby food. The Pedi right away, said she had lost a few ounces since her last visit and is concerned; so right away he said she needed to be tested for cystic fibrosiss. So, we took her to the lab where we sat there agonizing over her and watching her cry when the lab tech tried 3 times to draw her blood. Well, according to the Dr, all came out fine that there were some abnormalities in her blood, but nothing that would really stand out. He did say that she had a high level of acid in her system and is now testing her for that to find out why. Then he tells us, he did not have her tested yet for cystic fibrosis. So here we are again, upset & agonizing over our baby girl. I can't sleep at night & can't concentrate during the day. The disease does not run on my side of the family and neither does it run on my husbands.Has anyone gone thru this?

I've never seen a baby really do this before. Is it normal? My daughter has been hitting herself a lot these past few days mainly on her belly or legs, and I'm getting a touch worried. Nervous first time mum, hehe.

She's 2 months old and is not colicky. She can go days at a time without throwing up, but then on occasion will vomit an entire bottle right after a feeding. We have her on Similac Organic. She is never fussy...not even before or after she throws up. And it's not just spit up, it's projectile!

My friend had a baby 3 days ago. She weighed 5.13 at birth. She has been breastfeeding a lot but lost 10 oz at her weigh-in last night. She is worried about nipple confusion so is hesitant using formula. They are using the tube on the breast to suppliment. Does anyone think there could be a problem?
She was full term. And got a 9 on the birth test. They are keeping them at the hospital another day. What are the dr's looking for so that she can go home? Is this cause for alarm?

my son is 4 months old and has been taking rice cereal in his bottle for 2 months (per his doctor) for his reflux. Today I gave him a couple bites of rice cereal from a spoon and he did well with it. How many times a day do I give him rice cereal from a spoon and usually how much are you supposed to start off giving? Also at what point would I start to introduce other foods like applesauce as I know that you do them one at a time. Thanks for any advice as I'm a first time mom.

There have been a few days where I have forgotten to take them at the same time. I am usually good about taking them at 8:00am before I drop the baby off and go to work, but there have been a few days where I have taken them after work. I know that I'm supposed to take them at the same time everyday, but my question is if I forget to take it only a few times does that mean that I have messed up for the month? I never used to be able to take the pill so I really am not sure how strict it is to take it at the same time everyday. Just let me know some of your opinions please!! Thank you!!

Do you keep many bottles in the room temperature at night and warm it with a bottle warmer?
Or you go get cold prepared bottle from refrigerator and warm it?

Is there an efficient way to do bottle feeding at night and when to go out.

The reason I'm asking this because on the label says formula that baby didn't finish has to be thrown away after 1 hour.

Thank's in advance for any appropriate advice.
