Any time a person dies it is tragic. When it is a child it is doubly hard. I can not imagine what you are going though. Please seek the advice and the counsel of a professional therapist. If that is to much for you to pay, then try a minister or preist or someone in the clergy. They to are good people to talk to when something like this happens.

OMG!! I am sooo sorry to hear that you had to go through that!! I too lost my child. He was 39 days old and I woke up that morning to my mom yelling, Deanna wake up the baby's dead!! No one should ever have to go through the loss of a child. Anyway, sorry, my advice would be, if you are religious as your minister where you can find a support group or like said before just ask the funeral director. Personally, I would get help if I were you. I never did, and I am very messed up now. I get scared every time my second son cries!! Please e-mail me if you need to talk!! My e-mail addy is dea121885@yahoo.com.

Ohhh honey God bless your achen heart! I have lost a five month old baby and I am cryen reading this... There is nothing I can say to heal your heart. I wish I could but I know from experience that I can't... I really don't know what to say except make sure you talk to Mathew understands that it's not his fault and that you love him. Its easy to make the other kids feel like they don't matter while grieving over the loss. I am here if you just need to vent or cry or what ever my yahoo screen name is spectrum077 please take me up on it if you need to I am sincere! Hugs!

I am so sorry for the loss of your baby girl.

Ask the funeral director where you could get some counselling for you, your husband and Mathew. Your doctor should be able to help with information like that as well.

I am sorry and I feel no parent should have to go thru that pain....Loosing a child is unbearable....I can not even begin to imagine!! My prayers are w/ you and your family at this time! If you have faith in God he will help you overcome and just know that her purpose on earth was done and it was her time to go up to heaven and be w/ the angels! May the Lord comfort you in your time of mourning!

Let me start out by telling you you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I know you will hate me for this, But time heals all wounds. I almost lost my 2 y/o several times when he was first born. And got close to plenty of mothers who didn't get to take their children home. There is always prayer. Pray, have faith and it will get better. It may not look like it now but life does get better.

well first off i am very sorry for your loss. I know exactly what you are going threw I myself lost a child about 9 months ago now he was 7 months old with a twin sister and a older brother.. Let me tell you the pain doesnt go away it just gets a little more bareably day by day. Nothing anyone is going to say to you is really going to make you feel better but you have to focus on your son that you still have and make sure to make every moment count. As for your son you just have to explain to him that his sissy was very sick and that she is with god now in heaven.tell him that you know that he is going to miss her but one day he will get to see her again and just because she is gone doesnt mean he is supposed to forget about her. ~~ I wish you the best and my prayers are with you!

I am so terribly sorry to hear of your loss. I too know the pain of loosing a child. You will not feel better, as time goes by the pain will soften but it takes years. I am three years into my grief and not a day goes by that I don't think, miss and yearn for her. Have patience , take time for yourself, allow yourself to grieve.

That's just horrible, I'm so sorry to hear that has happened and I can't even imagine what it must be like for your family right now. You may look into your church if you attend one, I'm sure they have someone who could help you with your grief and all the pain you're experiencing. Once again, I'm so sorry for your lose, it just breaks my heart to hear that.

that really sounds like a nightmare...i have the same fear, though...i don't even sleep at night for staring at my baby girl, cause i have a cousin who lost two sons to SIDS....may i ask what happened to Madiline?.....

also, is it okay for me ask for the address of your funeral home so that i can send your family a 'care package' via your funeral director?

also, speaking with a professional will help, as a parent burying their child is a very traumatic experience....
