She might not be hungry and might just want to suck on something. Does she have a pacifier? 6oz is a lot for a 2 month old. My son is 8 months and takes 8oz, only 2 more than your baby. How often do you feed her? Try giving her less ounces but more frequently, like 4oz every 3 hours. If nothing I said helps I would ask the pediatrician, not your mom. Your baby might have gas or another reason she is crying.

Is it a hungry cry? If so maybe try 8 oz. Maybe she is going through a growth spurt. Or maybe she has gas and needs to burp. Do you use a bottle that reduces gas? I know my son had a hard time with certain bottles. We found that playtex ventaire helped him a lot. I have also heard good things about Dr. Browns bottles. You should probably ask your pediatrician to be certain what is best though. I am not a doctor, just an experienced mom of 3.

Babies will tell you that their tummies are full. They will turn their head or refuse to finish a bottle. If she sucks the bottle dry and starts crying, then she is probably still hungry. Try it at 7-8 oz. a bottle and she how she does. My baby (7 mos now) held gas, so I put 3-4 drops of Mylicon Gas Drops in every bottle. Mylicon is available at any grocery store.

it's okay to up baby's formula..she'll eat untill she's full, just make sure you're burping her correctly..
She also may be growing through a growth spurt, but she's also not a small baby, so i think she's okay..
my son is almost 3 months, it;s anywhere between 4 and 7 ounces a feeding, depending on how he feels.. every 3-4 hours.

My doctor always said a infant will not over eat, your daughter is still an infant and there are times they grow a lot in a short amount of time, let her have as much as she wants at this age.

She may be going through a growth spurt right now, so if she is hungry give her more food. Babies should be fed on demand.

Give her another oz or 2. If it's too much she'll let you know.

try a little more. She should be eating at least 32 oz per day, if not more.

I always put a few flakes of cereal in the bottle. It filled them on up and they`re both fine and by no means over weight.
are you sure she dosen`t have gas??
good luck
