are you just pumping, or is he nursing too. Of he is nursing your body will incerase demand to keep up with him. If you are just pumping, you will need to add a few pump session into the day to help your milk increase. At 6 months he can start on solids, try giving him cereal and fruit to help with his hunger!

If you are solely pumping then Just pump until the breast is empty....your body will automatically make a little more next time....If it keeps on emptying your body will just naturally make more. It's a supply and demand basis. If you are breastfeeding also, pump after he's finished to ensure both breasts are empty. It may take a while, a week or less, but you get the idea. Good Luck!

Babies go through growth spurts so they will demand more milk at various times. Your body knows that and will produce it but it is good to nurse and pump to keep the natural increase.
