Me and my wife wanted a girl so bad but got a boy instead. Were just as happy anyway :)

I wanted a boy first and was so happy to have my son. I've always loved the idea of the oldest being the big brother and watching out for his siblings! Now that I have him, I'd love to have at least another boy and a girl. My husband refused to admit what he wanted, but I now found out he did want a boy, but didn't want to say anything because he thought we were having a girl!
My mother-in-law actually had the nerve to ask where her "granddaughter" was when we told her we were having a boy. She had two boys and there were no other girls in the family since she was born.

I secretly wanted a girl, but bc I wanted a girl I knew I would have a boy and I did have a boy! My husband wanted a girl too. but now that we have a boy were happy of course,but hopefully we will get the girl in the next try, what did you want?

I wanted a girl first and was so pleased when I got her. The second child I wanted a girl again. I was scared of boys because they seem so wild. I got a boy and could not be happier. He is the cutest sweetest boy ever and he is way way more affectionate than my daughter ever was. I love them both and it really won't matter once you have yours. Whatever you get you won't be able to imagine having anything else.

I wanted a girl and now that I have a boy I can't believe I ever wanted anything different. I love watching him push his toy cars along as he crawls. I love how charming he is. I love that I have a tiny little Momma's boy, and fear the day when he loves another woman more than he loves me.

i wanted a girl for the fact that i have 2 nephews and 2 step nephews so EVERYONE wanted us to have a little girl....i guess they prayed enough because im 38 weeks with a girl! yea everyone wants a healthy baby ofcourse but we DO have a preference

I would want a girl. The relationship that I have with my mother and how close we are is something that I would like to share with my very own daughter some day. I would also love to have a boy to. Heck, I want one of each!!

I am 36 weeks pregnant with a boy(so they say), and I really wanted a girl. I wanted a girl for the bond that I have with my mother and my grandmother. I have a step-son(7), and he has that bond with his father. Because this will be my biological son, I feel that I will have more of a bond with him than with my step-son, but I would like to try again for a girl (in a few years) because I want to have that bond with her.

i wanted my first to be a boy because i wanted my future children to have a big brother rather than a big sister and because i hate pink and i thought a baby girl would cause my house to be infested with tiny pink everything. i did get my boy but i think i would have been just as happy if he had been a girl. parenthood has brought me such joy.

I really wanted a girl really bad and my husband wanted a boy. I had my boy first and my girl second...so we both got what we wanted!
