I have a friend who requested I make a baby blanket to fit a crib because they are hard to find. I have no idea of the dimensions, but would like to start on it today and the furniture stores in my area are closed on Sundays.

Most crib mattresses are standard size. And most cribs ask for the standard crib mattresses.

A standard crib mattress is 27 1/4 x 51 5/8 inches. I have the Kolcraft Pedicatic 1000.

In my crib's directions, it gave me measuements for a standard mattress and it was the one I gave you.

Do you know the make of her crib? Perhaps the manufacturer has a website which gives bedding sizes?
