Just looking for the future here- where did you find the best price & best selection of baby bedding? I have found things I like online, but they are very pricey.

On Ebay there is a store called Beyond Bedding that sells 9 piece crib sets. You can either Buy It Now or bid on the auction. I got both of my daughters' crib sets from this place and they are awesome! Not to mention very inexpensive! You get the bumper pad, fitted sheet, quilt, crib skirt, 2 valances, a diaper stacker, a toy/accesories holder and a decorative pillow. For my first daughter I paid $60 including the shipping and I just won the second daughter's crib set yesterday for $90 including shipping. You really cannot beat this since the quality of these sets is amazing.

Check it out-you won't believe it!

Find a pattern you like @ Babys R US, babycenter.com OR pottery barn kids and then do a web search on E-Bay. We found so much of our nursery decor for our daughter's room new or in gently used excellent condition on E-Bay. We found everything from crib bumpers, window valences, crib mobiles and so much more for 1/2 sometimes 1/4 of the original store/on-line price. Happy Shopping!!

I actualy skipped the whole crib bedding thing. Babies don't stay under blankets, can't use a pillow, adn once the can move around you have to take off the bumper anyway. I bought a crib sheet and put my baby in a warm sleeper. Of course, he slept with me most nights anyway, the crib was just for naps and "mommy-daddy" time, kwim!

I just went to a friends baby shower she was register at Babies R Us and the prices there were great! Her baby bedding was maybe $200 at the most and was like everything you could imagine for a crib!

We purchased a crib mattress cover from walmart and a similar one from jc penny, they both fell apart when washed and had to be returned.
Be careful of too cheap

Target.... Babies r Us is cute - but very over-priced. walMart is ok, but not very cute.
