My 9 week old daughter was just diagnosed with torticollis. I've researched a little bit online, but was wondering if anyone can give me real world experience about what they went through. She has her first appointment to see a physical therapist in a couple days.

i think i want to start giving cereal to my 8 week old, partly to see if it will help him sleep but partly because he has reflux and ive heard that it might help with that too, but how much should i give and when, just the first bedtime feeding or two, and how do you mix it, in the bottle or in a bowl and feed with a spoon-he has only been on the bottle...he is formula feed and eats about 4 to 5 oz every 2 to 3 hrs.

My daughter is two weeks old and I want to stop breastfeeding and put her on formula, however, I feel EXTREMELY guilty. I have been breastfeeding since she was born, although, she had to stay in the hospital almost a week after delivery because of complications -- during that time, the nurses supplemented with formula when I wasn't there to breastfeed her. Due to that, my daughter actually prefers the bottle over the breast so, I have been pumping and bottle feeding since I brought her home. The thing is, she is constantly hungry and I just can't keep up with her! If I'm not feeding her, I pumping -- I feel tied to the couch all day. I have another daughter at home who just turned two and I'm in college full time which makes it difficult as well.

I stopped breastfeeding my first daughter when she was between 2-4 weeks old due to complications. I didn't feel guilty then so, why do I feel so horrible now??? Any advice???

I bottle feed and breast feed him. For about two days (except at night) my son has refused to breastfeed. He gets really fussy and cries. I'll try to calm him down but he only stops when I give him the bottle. How do you think that I can get him to breast feed more? I've tried to squirt some milk in his mouth first but he still refuses. How should I solve this delimma? THANK YOU !!

He just cries and cries the minute we put him on the floor, he has stopped playing independently, he's not smiling or laughing as much, and when we hold him he will arch his back and wave his hands as if to "hit" us and cry. We are at a loss. He already has gotten his first two teeth, so we know what that looks like. This isn't it. But what is it? Tantrums? Boredom? It has been happening for almost two weeks now.

Hi, my 8 week old had been consipated ever since she was 3-4 weeks old. she will go once every 3-4 days and it is a soft stool, she screams and crys when she's trying to go. And just in the last week she has been throwing up alot. She also doesn't eat as much as she use to. Any suggestions on how to help her, would be great. Someone told me that it could be the formula im using. I used the same President's choice formula on my son and he was fine. any thoughts

My friend is pregnant. If the baby is a boy then he will be named after his father. If the baby is a girl then she is considering naming her Logan or Hunter. Are these good names for a girl and if not what is good names? I told my friend that I will post this question and let her read the replies in a day or two.I have never heard of girls named Logan or Hunter.Although no one can tell her what not to name her baby,a few has told her not to name the baby the names she picked out.We just dont want the baby to be a girl and end up with a boys name. Her other 2 daughters names is Megan Marie and Kelly Nichole.

I have a 4 month old so I'm just wondering. My schedule is very obscure...
I'm only 17 (read my other question if you must know the whole story) so anyway I'm still in school.
I wake up at 5:30, get up with the baby, change him, feed him, dress him, play with him then put him in his playpen or swing or something while I go get ready
Leave for school at 7:00 so he's now in my mom's care
Get home at 2-ish, I do all my homework in study halls so I can be with the baby after school
5:00 bathe him
6:00 last feeding, get ready for bed
down and sleeping through the night at 7:00 pm

yup, it's hectic but you know, that's what its like!
What's your day like? Just trying to get an idea of other people

last night my daughter had a spot of diarrhea and a temperature, 103.5 naturally i called the doctor and sceduled an appointment, i thought maybe an ear infection, but this morning the doctor said nothing wrong, maybe just a stomach flu and to monitor her temp.
well i have and its been pretty good, nothing too high, no more diarrhea, eating good. but she woke up from her nap really cranky, (she's always happy) and was chewing on her fingers crying, I gave her tylenol, and her favorite teething ring, i suspect teething, she's 9mo's
