I have a 4 month old so I'm just wondering. My schedule is very obscure...
I'm only 17 (read my other question if you must know the whole story) so anyway I'm still in school.
I wake up at 5:30, get up with the baby, change him, feed him, dress him, play with him then put him in his playpen or swing or something while I go get ready
Leave for school at 7:00 so he's now in my mom's care
Get home at 2-ish, I do all my homework in study halls so I can be with the baby after school
5:00 bathe him
6:00 last feeding, get ready for bed
down and sleeping through the night at 7:00 pm

yup, it's hectic but you know, that's what its like!
What's your day like? Just trying to get an idea of other people

I actually only had 7 credits left at that time till i finish high school so i enroll in alt. school. Best thing i ever did.
Anyways.. Just wanted to give you the thumps up! Keep up the great work, your son will greatly benefit from it and one day will thank you!

i am VERY VERY impresed that as a teen father you are sticking with your child. Here is what my schedual consisted of when my son was that age

6:00 first feeding and diper change
6:20 get dressed
6:30 brush his gums
6:30-7:00 play time
7:00-8:30 nap time
8:30 another feeding with a little bit of rice cerel (he was a early soli food baby)
9:00 - 9:30 self play
9:30 - 10:00 play with mommy
10:00 another bottel
10:30 - 1200 nap time
12:00 another bottel
12:30 - 1:30 play time
1:30 - 2:00 swing time
2:00 bottel
2:30 nap time (i think by now you see the repition just keep going untill his 8:30 bed time)

Now his schedual is (he is now 2)
7 or 8 wake up time
eat brakefast
have morning bath
morning teeth brushing
get dressed
9:30 - 11:00 mommy chase the son around the house saying "no don't throw that" or "Hunny no that could cause a owwie!" and mommy play time
11:30 lunch
12:00 - 1:00 back to mommy play and chase
1:00 - 2:00 nap time
2:00 wake up
snack
2:15 - 4:00 back to mommy chase and play
4:00 - 5:00 watch elmos world
5:00 lunch
5 30 - 6:00 bath
teeth brushing
message with lavinder lotion
get in pjs
6:00 - 8:00 back to mommy chase and play
8:00 cup of water and bed time WHEW!

(mind you every 2 hours he also gets set on the potty chair i also did not add al diper changes on the list because it depended on when diper was soild)

My son started napping in the process the evening at 6 weeks old (a 6 hour stretch). by using the time he became 12 weeks old, he became napping a 10 to twelve hour stretch at evening until now waking to consume. in view that then he started going to mattress at 6:30pm, napping until 4:30 or 5:30 am, and then eating and going decrease back to mattress until 7:30am. He naps at 9, 12 and 3 for an hour each and each. the main suitable concern you're able to do is to get to mattress until now your self, and then take a snooze while the child does! The homestead initiatives will wait!

I am glad your still in school, Its VERY important you stay. My wife had her first child at 16, had to quit school, Health teacher said anyone that gets knocked up in my class fails...she was 2 months pregnant. She did get her high school diploma a few years later at night school. She did miss out on alot...prom and parties and hanging out with her friends. She is now 35, mom of 4 boys our oldest is 18 and now i do my best to make up for lost time for her. The 2 oldest are my step kids, We have been together since they were 2 and 6 weeks old.

Your doing a great job and im glad your mom is helping...thank her EVERY DAY !!! Best of luck to you, If you get down just remember you have a whole life ahead of you and the best times are still ahead. Keep up the great work.

P.S. They dont stay small that long, Our youngest is 10 and just yesterday he was a little baby. They grow up fast...You go girl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
