My friend is pregnant. If the baby is a boy then he will be named after his father. If the baby is a girl then she is considering naming her Logan or Hunter. Are these good names for a girl and if not what is good names? I told my friend that I will post this question and let her read the replies in a day or two.I have never heard of girls named Logan or Hunter.Although no one can tell her what not to name her baby,a few has told her not to name the baby the names she picked out.We just dont want the baby to be a girl and end up with a boys name. Her other 2 daughters names is Megan Marie and Kelly Nichole.

Logan and Hunter are mainly boys names
Hayley can be a boy name, but it mainly girls
Jordan is a unisex name, that seems to have a lot of both
I would not name my child Logan and Hunter, if it was a girl.
Megan and Kelly is pretty.
Here are some girl names
Jaycee, Paxton, Aimee, Ellie, Julia, Jordan, Harley, Hayley, Riley, Zoe
Good luck
Congratulations
Name your child what you want. Do take in consideration of what people said. In the end, name your child, what you want.

First off Hunter and Logan are very pretty GIRLY names (that can also be boy names). I love Logan more though, Hunter Tylo (sp) was a supermodel back in the day...and Logan is the name of a very pretty, very feminine girl who lives in my town. Those names can go either way...Kelly is also a name used for boys! Tell her to go for it she's the one who has to raise the girl. Good Luck;)

Well their is an actress named Hunter, however, I have never heard the name Logan for a girl until I saw the name of a missing girl named Logan. I think your friend is quite fashion-forward because the new thing now is giving girls boy's names or androgynous names. One of my male friends thinks that it is sexy for a girl to have a boy's name.

My 10 yr old daughters name is Raven middle name Hunter
I named her Raven before the show thats so Raven and the kids think its cool she is named after a tv show...if they only knew
Hunter can be found in some baby name books listed as both a boy and girl name

I think Hunters okay but they are boy names. Do they not like girly names? If not why not something more like Jordan?

Honestly, I wouldn't name a girl those names. They are too masculine. But as you said, it's going to be her baby & she should name it whatever she likes. Congrats to your friend & I wish her the best.
