I'm just the grandma but my little peanut is teething and can't hold on to a teething ring. We're tried doing that for her but she doesn't like it...she sucks on her fingers mostly. Any advice about teething would be much appreciated. I feel sooo sorry for her. thanks all.

Baby Orajel and give her some Tylenol. Also let her suck on a cold wash cloth.

Not too early but she would feel better if you could put a frozen cloth (put wet baby washcloth in freezer) and let her bite and gnaw on it. Of course there are many over the counter aide for the pain to the gums and used properly will not harm your little peanut. She is also starting to use her arms and hands for her self so she is getting pretty independent. Teething is painful put unless she is crying in pain. its really just part of development. Watch out she will try to put everything in her month to try to ease the discomfort.

YUP! Mine (4 months) is going through the same. The baby orajel is helpful..she's probably cutting the tooth like now..that's why she's so crazy and drooling so much. Give her a little Tylenol,if she can have it, I let this one gnaw on the back of my hand. That's how I felt the first little sucker! Good Luck

I rotated between Tylenol & Motrin when my son started teething. He didn't take the teething ring until he was around 9 months.

Give her a warm, wet washcloth tied in a know and let her
bite it OR the baby teething (food) bars--alltho they make a
mess. there's orogel and numbzit. Also, wash your hands
and push down slightly on the tooth that's coming thru. She
will either like it, or cry. If she cries, that means the tooth is
really sore.
