My daughter got her name one night when we mixed two names up from the name book. Four hours of laying and naming. It was like when I was a kid and made up my own language. We debated on the name we came up with for the whole pregnancy, but never really looked any harder.
In the end we named her that night, after she was born we didn't even have a second thought. So glad we did.
Her name as a "lay" in it.

My daughter's name is Kayleigh Marie :) but I like the other "leigh" names as well. Decide on a list of about ten to twenty different names you like, go through them with the baby's father, odds are he will cross off at least half of them, trust me. You don't have to pick a name before she is born. I went into labor thinking I was going to name my daughter Alayna (ah-lane-ah) but I didn't think she looked like one, so Kayleigh it was! Good luck, and please name your baby a name YOU like even if family members disapprove. They will come around.
