Our older two children are named Kayla Marie and Kevin-Michael, they want the baby to have the same initials. We have the girl name picked out and everyone loves it, but the boy name is a problem. We were thinking Kaiden at first, but it's becoming too common. Same thing with Kyle and Kenneth.

SO we were thinking Kristian (we are very devout Christians and thought it would be a *fantastic* name) BUT every time he got mail as an adult it would probably be misspelled, or he would be introducing himself as "Hi, I'm Kristian with a K." So what do you honestly think of Kristian with a K?

Kingston was another name I liked, but my husband was kind of iffy about, so I'd like opinions on that name, too.

Thanks for any input!!

I gave birth 9 days ago, and the dr didn't think he'd have to cut me until the very end, and he said he was going to have to make a very small incision. I was under the impression that it wasn't very bad, because it didn't take long at all for him to sew me up and I had more pain from the pressure feeling in my bottom than anything else. Anyway, today, I've seen THREE stitches on my toilet paper! I'm not wiping, I'm using the spray bottle and then just patting dry. So, by dissolve I thought they meant they would disappear... but is this what is supposed to happen? Are you supposed to be able to see them when they come out? The only thing I can think of is that I've been itchy with a burning sensation down there for the past few days, so I've been squirming around a little bit to avoid stratching. I've also had several bowel movements, but all soft - nothing I would think would rip them out. Also, I looked down there with a mirror, and it looks as if part of it might be open!!

I'm looking for a easy to use, informative book on making baby food that includes recipes. If you know of any good websites that would be helpful too. ( I already use wholesomebabyfood.com)

Hi, since my daughter of 3 month old has feeding problem, and she's gaining weight very slowly (only 10lbs8 now), should I start her on a high calorie formula like Neosure to help her gain weight? I know that's mostly for premature babies, but i'm so frustrated in her "feeding struggle" and i'm so concerned with her growth, I wonder if anyone with a full-term baby has used high-calorie formula before? Please advise.

My four month old has been pushing her bottle out of her mouth with her tongue and playing around with the nipple. She then gets frustrated when she is eating and also pushes some formula out when we feed her. Why is she doing this?

My baby LOVEs oatmeal and mixed cereal. She also loves fruit but not vegetables or meat. She is 7 months old and I am worried about her diet. I have tried sneeking these foods in her cereal but it does not work. I have even made my own baby food because some of that jar stuff is gross. I have scrambled eggs, ground up chicken and potatoes etc but she makes a horrible face and gets furious... Should I give her vitamins?

My wife is probably going to give birth soon (36 weeks) and she is having twin boys. Our son is only 2 years old. We want him to be ready for this. We have already bought him the twin baby dolls to explain to him whats going on.He likes to kiss him mom's belly and rub it. He is very well behaved and he understands that mommy is going to the hospital soon. What else can we do to involve him in the birth.....also, any name suggestions?

We have a 6 month old baby. He was 2 months premature and needed a lot of attention when he first came home. He is off his monitors and life is a little bit easier but my husband doesn't help out around the house or take the baby so I can have a break. I've tried talking to him numerous times and it just ends in a fight. I love my son more than anything but like any parent, I need a break from time to time.

I'm not currently working because I've been home with the baby. My husband says if I want a "break" then I can go back to work. I won't put my son in day care yet because he gets sick really easy because his immune system isn't that strong. He won't help around the house because I'm a "housewife" and that's what they do. It's not like I'm asking him to do everything. Just pick up a pop can here and there or put dishes in the dishwasher. Hold his son for more than 15 minutes a day. I'm seriously fed up!! What do I do to make him understand??

I just started giving my 4 month old cereal... How often do I give it to him? Once a day, everytime he eats? Do i need to give him more the more he eats it? He loves it!! He ate it real well when I gave it to him. I just dont want to give him too much. Since I started it, he's been constapated also. How do I fix that?

I know he can't play with anything less than 1 1/2 in diameter. I have to change him every 3 hrs, the bottle he's drinking from shouldn't have anything that's too hot in it, burp the baby, don't feed him grapes or anything

A friend of mine just recently had a baby. In conversation she mentioned she only gives her son a bath twice a week(he's four months). I gave my kids a bath everyday. I think they start to stink after two days. The thought of them sitting in their waste and not bathing them everyday grosses me out. If you use baby oil on their skin after, they do not dry out. I was wondering if anyone else bathes twice a week, or do you do it everyday like I did?
