Im wondering how old babies are (on averge) when theyre about 22lbs....

I don't know what's going on with everyone else's kids. Those are some humongous kids. My daughter will be 10 months this week and she only weighs 20 lbs. I know that 22 lbs. is the average weight of a one year old.

I think it depends on the baby. My cousin's son weighed 20 pounds when he was 3 months old (not advisable...that poor little guy has a lot of health issues, and just was diagnosed with asthma.He just turned 5 months).
A little girl I used to take care of was 18 months and weighed 22lbs.

My son was about 15 months old before he hit 22 lbs, and he was 7 lbs 4 oz at birth. My daughter was 4 1/2 lbs at birth, and is about 15 lbs at 6 months, so I'm guessing she'll also be around 15 months.

My youngest was about 2 yrs old but she's very small for her age(Now almost 4 and 26 1/2 lbs) my oldest was about 9 mos I think (been a while) but she was very big. Birth weight makes a difference so does genetics. If you're concerned about your child's weight speak with your doctor. If he doesn't share your concern there's no reason you can't get a second opinion.

my little lamb was 22lbs by the time she was about 5 - 6 months old - she was a beefcake but now she is about 30lbs and 20 months old - and has lost loads
i had so much crap from health visitors telling me to put her on a diet - it made me paranoid, she was just like my other daughter who is now 11 and she was a big fatty-cake now there is nothing of her- she is lanky lol

ok so my daughter is just really small compared to all of these other babies. She is 20 months and weighs a little over 22 pounds. It took her forever!!!! She is a picky eater but the pediatrician doesn't think she is underweight she says that is about average.

oh my god, those ladies have some BIG babies!! Bless you both...My daughter was at least 10 months before being 22 pounds. All babies are going to be different. IF you think there is a problem too big or small, visit your doctor and they will advise you what is best!

my daughter is 8 months and was at that weight around 1 month ago and shes a big girl i would hate to see some of these other babies people are talking about.
