A good balance of green vegetables, fruit, starchy vegetables or whole grains, and protein is a winner. Be careful with the low-fat thing because your body needs some healthy fats to stabilize your mood and leave you feeling fuller longer ( think flax oil, olives, white cheese).
Some good meal ideas might be
turkey sandwhich on whole grain, salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing and a piece of fruit if you desire.
Or a browni rice stirfry with chicken or tofu;brocolli, carrots and red peppers.
Whole grain pita bread with goat cheese, veggies, olives, and meat, tofu, or hummus.
A smoothie of protein powder, plain yogurt, flax oil, fruit, and milk or soymilk. Maybe veggies on the side (unless you want to mix kale in the smoothie; its an aquired taste)
A burrito on a whole wheat tortilla with brown rice, avacado, cheese, veggies, and veggies.
Fruit juices, even those labelled "100% juice" raises insulin and makes you hungry again, as do white rice and bread products.
Fiber, protein, and some good fats leave you full longer and don't release as much insulin.

Healthiest lunch for baby: Breastmilk (under 4-6 months), breastmilk mixed with cereal (4-9 months), breastmilk and possibly some baby food (6-12 months), and from then on some healthy solids (veggies, fruits, protiens, etc).

Healthiest lunch for mom: Anything well balanced with plenty of vitamins and minerals. Down some water (nature's magic potion) and have a small snack to keep your energy up during the day. You shouldn't have to worry about calories or fat as long as your taking in the right amount of foods, vitamins, and water along with 30 mins. of exercise every other day (even if it's just chasing your teething baby around the house or taking her for a walk).

i swear by low carb dieting it burns our own body fat and keeps you fuller for longer - but try the good old salad dish
try tuna fish or chicken on a bed of salad, olives, celery and a hand full of seeds sprinkled on top,

or a big huuuuuuuuuuuuge bowl of kellogs cornflakes with milk - or a biiiiiiiiiiiiig bowl of veggie soup made with loads and loads of veggies (homemade) easy peasy

when baby starts teething frequently rub their gums so that they squeek - it softens the gum and the tooth comes through easily and helps soothe the ache - i did it with my baby - my mum taught me that and it does work - : )
