If she appears to dislike the taste try changing the temperature that you serve it at, or change consistency by adding more or less liquid, or try to prepare it with formula or breast milk. However like adults infants have their own likes and dislikes, try a variety or alternate fruit and veggie. Or just add small amounts to the cereal to introduce the flavour. Nutritionally it does not make a difference, since breast milk or formula supply most of the infants nutrition at this stage.
However HOLD OFF on the egg Whites, till at least 12 months. Egg whites contain over 20 different types of protein- all or any of which could lead to allergy or intolerance.
DO NOT GIVE VITAMINS at this age. they get all they need from breast milk or formula.

They should have some kind of supplement that u can put n her milk. But at least she's eating!!! Oatmeal is very healthy. Just continue giving her the foods she likes, but try giving her meat and vegetables every once n a while. Did u start her off with oatmeal, fruits, and mixed cereal? Her taste buds have probably already adjusted to the natural sugars n the foods that u have given her, which will cause her not to like anything thats not sweet. My ma gave my niece some candied yams and she loved them, stick to foods that r naturally sweet and she'll eat it.

Babies taste buds are very heightened. What is only slightly bitter to us could be extremely to them. Fruits and cereal are just right at this stage. Try giving her sweet veggies next (sweet potato's, pumpkin, sweet peas ect) hold off on meats until after 1 yr old. When she's old enough to pick up finger foods then try small soft chunks of veggies, she'll eat them if only because it's fun. Unlike some people I would never deny my child food or force them to eat something they don't like. Occasionally trying veggies previously thought yucky though has worked out well for me.

It could be as simple as the textures of the foods and not the foods themselves. My 9month old is just starting to like her potatoes. The chunks can't be too big though! Do you grind or purée your meats and veggies? How about adding chicken broth (made from home) to them. Does she like homemade soups? I wouldn't add vitamins just yet because she's still has her milk that is full of all of the good stuff that she needs. At this point food is still secondary to her first food ... milk! I don't think you're suppose to give eggs though until 1 unless it's just the egg yolk.
Best of luck and be patient. She will eat what she needs!

Slow down Mom.
If she is 7 months old and loves cereal and fruit, she is right on schedule.
There is plenty of time to add veggies and meats later.
No vitamins needed as long as you are giving her all the breast milk or foumula she wants.
When she can sit in a high chair, put various finger foods on her tray and let her pick and choose (this is when she has enough teeth to handle chunks of soft foods). She will discover the wonders of feeding herself and will broaden her tastes on her own.

You need to use some psychology on her; (my nephew did this with his daugher and now she eats everything) when you're feeding her - say this to her (with a big smile on your face) "this is so yummy and tastes soooooo good". If this fails, then just stand your ground and continue your current method. If she gets upset - guess what............. she doesn't get anything else until she eats what you give her. Once she finally understands this - she will eat. Children need variety, in their foods, and the sooner they learn this - the better off they will be.
Be the parent and do NOT give into her!

I used to mix the fruit with the vegetables or put what my son didn't like at the beginning of the spoon and what he did like in the front of the spoon. Big word of advice-do not give your baby a lot of juice and PLEASE do not introduce the child to soda later on in life!

no. just be patient with her and she will change her diet in due time. if you force her to eat things that YOU want her to eat, she may end up hating the food altogether. so again, patience and preserverence are very important here

When she is most hungry, she will not like it , but when she is so hungry this will work, keep trying, because this will go into early childhood and so on.
