I put two links at the bottom to charts that are specifically designed for breastfed babies. You can't really compare breastfed babies against formula-fed babies because they are so very different!

It's important to note, though, that babies go through a MAJOR growth spurt around 6-8 weeks, so your little girl is probably gaining pretty quickly right now, or about to. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as she seems happy and healthy, wetting lots of diapers every day. You might be able to look at the chart again when she is about 10-11 weeks to get a better idea of where so falls on the spectrum.

Hope that helps!

That all depends on how much she weighed at birth. They should generally gain about a 1/2 pound every week or so. So, if she was 7 lbs at birth, then she should be somewhere around 10 lbs - 11 lbs. As long as she is gaining, I wouldn't be too worry though. If it bothers you too much, call your doc.

Depends on the child and what their birthweight was.

Personally speaking :

Baby #1 - boy - 7lbs 8oz at birth - 13lb 7oz at 6½ weeks
Baby #2 - girl - 8lbs 12oz at birth - 13lb 9oz at 6½ weeks
Baby #3 - boy - 9lb 2oz at birth - 15lbs at 7 weeks.

I''m a breast feeding mother and I asked my doctor for a growth chart for breast fed babies... its a bit different from the normal ones. You can easily chart the baby's growth and compare it to other babies.
