Our older two children are named Kayla Marie and Kevin-Michael, they want the baby to have the same initials. We have the girl name picked out and everyone loves it, but the boy name is a problem. We were thinking Kaiden at first, but it's becoming too common. Same thing with Kyle and Kenneth.

SO we were thinking Kristian (we are very devout Christians and thought it would be a *fantastic* name) BUT every time he got mail as an adult it would probably be misspelled, or he would be introducing himself as "Hi, I'm Kristian with a K." So what do you honestly think of Kristian with a K?

Kingston was another name I liked, but my husband was kind of iffy about, so I'd like opinions on that name, too.

Thanks for any input!!

The middle name is already picked out, it is Matthew. We'd love more opinions on "Kristian" and "Kingston", please!

Alright finally someone else who likes the name Kingston...I love the name and when mentioned alot of ppl gave me crap cause it was Gwen Stefani's kids name...Who cares..it is a great name go with Kingston all the way. I like Kaiden but i agree it is popular..another version is Caedmon (pronounced Cade man) after the Caedmon's Call Christian group...(you could change the C to a K..Kaedmon...) if you know of them you know they are awesome Christian band with a big following and Caedmon means warrior which i think is cool
Warrior for Christ which goes with your Christianity....We have an awesome God dont we....
Forever His Daughter.....Good luck

Sorry don't care for Kristian, sounds kind of like a girl name.
But you have most the other ones that are good K names already on your list. Kingston is totally different, not sure how I feel about that name.
Kain? Or maybe, find a M name for the first name and a K name for the middle, same initials, just backwards.
Matthew Kristian. OH, congrats on the newest addition!

I know a guy and his name is Kristian (which I really like) but as an adult it has been shortened to Kris which is generally a female spelling for Chris. I always thought this was awkward to see it written most people thought he was a she. Kingston is OK but a little out there and seems dark to me. I saw you are a Christian~there are some cute biblical names that could be K names (Kaleb or Kenan for example).

Well, I think that Kristian is a good name if you are looking to add some "flare" to a somewhat commonly spelled name. As for misspellings, and difficult introductions, he'll get past that in time. Kingston is also an adorable name! You could come up with endless nicknames for that one. Best of luck to you and your family =]

My advice:
[ Kingston Marcus ]
[ Kyler Marcus ]
[ Kristian Marcus ]
or...
[ Klaidan Mark ]

Korbin Karter (but then you might have the same spelling problem) Kraig
I had a boyfriend in school named Kean (pronounced like Key-In), and I've always liked that one.
