i'm 17, and going to be 18 in November. I recently found out that i'm pregnant. i'm not in school anymore, I dropped out at age 16. i told my mom that i was pregnant and she says she's going to MAKE me have an abortion. i'm going to be an official adult in less than a month. can she really make me have an abortion?

I have no real friends,no boyfriend,nothing to motivate me. The only thing I really care at this moment is my big brother,nothing else is important to me in this moment.He is the only person I can talk to. I have good parents,but I don't like talking to them. I go to church every Saturday,but still...nothing is different.Every day is so freaking boring! My grades are going down,I had all A but now I have only 2 A,3 B and one C.That is like...imposible for the old me.But I just don't care anymore!I never thought of suicide as an option(do I tried to do it 3 years ago,which was very stupid)I just hate my life!!! What can I do to make my life better???

I understand her concerns, because it is after homecoming and my mom wants to make sure I'm safe and everything, but I've given her reasonable options that she just won't even consider. I said that I would call her when I got to my friend's house to check in and another one of my friends who is sleeping over offered to give me a ride home the next morning, so my mom really wouldn't have to do anything. She says that I'm too old for sleepovers and doesn't want me to go to any ever again. I'm 16, and I think that my mom is under the impression that all sleepovers are for 12 year olds and involve pillow fights, truth or dare, and feeble attempts to stay up all night. At sleepovers now all anybody does is literally go sleep over at someone's house! How can I convince her to let me go? We're all honors students and everybody sleeps over at a friend's house after homecoming!

my dad got a random 17 yr old girl at a party pregnant when he was 15, and stayed with her. when i 1 month she split and my dads looked after me ever since. he has mates over all the time but wont date. it makes me feel guilty, as if i ruined his life. he tells me that "i am the only girl he needs" but i don’t believe it. he wont go out to clubs, where he could meet heaps of chicks, and he is a good looking, nice bloke. i think he is worried about the change, because his parents kicked him out when he got the girl pregnant. So iv never had a mother figure, or grandparents. My dads parents say that they don’t want to meet me, and the only contact they have with him is when they send a Christmas card. It has only ever been the two of us, and friends, never girlfriends. i want him to date but he wont. what can i do? we are very closeand a girlfriend would make him happyer. he thinks that any one his age would run away screaming when he says he has a 15 yr old daughter. what do you think? Before saying stuff about me needing a mother and everything, and that dad should try and find her, he has tried to find her many times, but she has just dissapered. The only proof that he has of my mother ever existing is me, and one foto of her. One of his friends partners told me one day that maybe he didn’t want me to see someone that wasn’t my mother become my mother. Please help me.

I recently had unprotected and unexpected sex with a girl that i like, and then the next day, she said she had many symptoms of pregnancy, such as stomach cramps, vomitting, she's been feeling 'hot' all day and really thirsty, and stuff like that... I was wondering if it's even possible to know this early, by the way we're both 17. Yeah she wants to remain anonymous because we want to resolve this as soon as possible... ALSO we want to try the Morning After pill, does anyone know if there are certain drugs that counter-act it? because she is taking drugs because she is Bipolar, and will those types of drugs like interfere with the Morning AFter pill? any thoughts please help. I recently found a thong in my 13 year old son's room when I was doing laundry. I asked him about it and said he took it as a joke from one of his friends, that is a girl. So far he has been very honest with me. I try to be open so he can trust me and come to me if he needs anything. I just don't want him to make the mistakes that I made, like having him at 17! His dad, my husband, alreadly had "the talk" and he says he understands. My son has so many friends that are girls, most of his cell phone contacts are girls, is that normal? My question is am I being unrealistic thinking he has not has sex yet?

For my daughters 16th B-Day she was supposed to have a girls day out wiht her friends.( I'm paying for it) ( nails and dinner) No she didn't have a sweet sixteen party. But for her report card she was supoosed have 2 A's, 1 C, and the rest B's. instead she has 1 A, 3 B's, and 3 C's!Although she brought up her Geometry Grade from a 37 F to 75 C. 3 grades fell one from a A to a B. and the others from B's to C's. I'm taking away her privlages until her grades get better but i'm not sure what to do about her Girls Day Out. btw 6 friends

It's so annoying I will walk into like the kitchen and he will just start saying random crap about football or basketball. Every single time someone walks into the room he will just start talking. It's like he just wants to hear himself talk. I've already told him a million times I don't care what he wants to say, that im not listening, but he still talks and talks forever about stupid stuff. I’m a junior in high school and almost 17 years old. And I am really tired of my parents butting into my personal life. Its my choice if I choose to have sex, not theirs! Its my choice if I choose to stay over at my boyfriend’s house for the night! Its my choice if I want to go out and party! Its not like I’m even getting drunk every night (I only came home drunk once; it was actually the morning after I just came home with a hangover which isn’t even bad. I hate hangovers so I never get drunk now) They’re so overprotective and it seems like I’m always grounded for every little thing I do. I got grounded because I slept over at my boyfriend’s house! I mean, how ridiculous is that! Its no big deal! My parents don’t even know if we are having sex so they can’t just assume! (I have only had it once this past summer was my 1st time) Pretty soon I am going to be going away to college and they’re going to have to let go of me! They need to see that I’m not there little girl anymore its not 1995 anymore, and they need to realize this! It just really frustrates me. I get grounded for every little thing I do! Have a party/go to a party; get grounded! Stay at my boyfriend’s house; get grounded. Go over on my texts; get grounded. Stay out until 12 (which isn’t even late); get grounded. Its like they always need to control me and honestly I can’t wait until I go to college so I don’t have them on my back 24/7. Does anyone else have this problem?

When I go out without my daughters, say I'm going shopping or I'm going out visiting or something I don;'t great I mean I feel guilty for leaving them like I'm a bad mom that I left them but yet I always say I would like to have some "me time" once and awhile but when I get it I feel bad.

He's 17 and in his first relationship. The girl is polite, nice, and has him wrapped around her little finger. Nothing has happened yet, and I don't want it to. I don't want him to father a child, form permanent ties with this girl, and make getting an education so much harder.

ive notice more nd more teens are pregnant then the generations before them . 10 ys ago in my school in the a major city there were a total of 4 girls that were pregnent before they graduated, but they were known to sleep around. and these were 17 18 yr olds. now it seems like more often then none its 13 14 15 yr olds that are getting pregnant what happened to saying no?

do you think it has to do with these certain parents that want to let their kids be there own person?

My 15 year old daughter just came to live with me. She lived with her father from age 10 to 15. I live in a different state than her father.

She keeps throwing tantrums while studying. Last night, she was studying for a Chemistry test and then all of sudden she started pushing me and threw all of her books around. She then started crying and would not study for about 1 hour.

I tried to leave her alone and she said "Thanks for making me fail." I then ended up staying up until 11 p.m. to quiz her for her test. My father also made a test for her and she finally did it at 11:30 p.m.

She keeps sayings that she hates living with me and has given up on school and wants to get a D.

Then, she says that "We don't get along."

I don't know how to handle her. If I leave her alone to study, she ends up getting D's. If I try to help her, she fights me and gets upset.

What should I do?

It all started when my friend was listening in to what girl A was saying and she turned arond and said 'WHY ARE YOU STARING AT ME???' A then told all her other friends this girl was staring at her and now A and her friend B are spreading rumours saying she's a lesbian.

It is so immature! We are all 15 and they shouldnt be so stupid.

How can i help my friend?

A and B and their other friends have been yelled at by us when we told them not to be so mean and bitchy to other girls, which then turned into a screaming match.
