I recently had unprotected and unexpected sex with a girl that i like, and then the next day, she said she had many symptoms of pregnancy, such as stomach cramps, vomitting, she's been feeling 'hot' all day and really thirsty, and stuff like that... I was wondering if it's even possible to know this early, by the way we're both 17. Yeah she wants to remain anonymous because we want to resolve this as soon as possible... ALSO we want to try the Morning After pill, does anyone know if there are certain drugs that counter-act it? because she is taking drugs because she is Bipolar, and will those types of drugs like interfere with the Morning AFter pill? any thoughts please help. Thanks.

FYI to all you idiots who said 'next time wear a condom', she and her friends were playing a joke they thought was funny on me. and now no one in the civilized world finds them trustworthy with anything at all. kinda sad. =D

go to a chemist and ask one of the people that work there. they should be able to tell you whether any of the pills she is on would not go. the most important thing is go and enquire now... you dont say how recent this situation occured, the sooner u take that pill the better!! even when you dont think ur going to have sex, its probably a good idea to carry around a 'dom in ur wallet just in case.. it could prove very handy for you :)
good luck

The pharmacian could tell you whether she can take the morning after pill or not with her bi-polar medication, I personally dont have a clue. But, you only have about 48 hours to take that pill ...this is why its called '' the morning after''. I've taken it before and I havent had much problems with it. It might make her a bit nautious but its nothing big.Vomitting and dizziness are possible but rare.
If ever she is pregnant, and it's too late for the morning after pill, I suppose you could both go for abortion ( anti-abortionists are probably going to give me thumbs down on this one....lol). I just dont see why you would let a child be born in this world with parents that are not ready to take care of him properly and your parents dont need to pay for your mistakes. At 17, you still have a lot to go through before becomming parents. I dont know the reglements on abortions, since the reglements are different everywere but I do know that the girl needs to be consent. Talk to her about it.

I hope you take this experience as a lesson, but im sure I dont need to mention that .

i too am 17. I'm not sure what I would do either. I am surprised t o hear that she's getting symptoms so early! i didn't think you would be able to know right away. but if that's the case, she should by one of those over the counter tests before you do anything else with pills. you don't wanna mess this girl up. sorry i don't know more, but i hope the best for you and the girl!

No one gets symptoms within a day, and questions regarding the pill interacting with other drugs will be a great question to ask the medical professional that you get the pill from rather than random people on answers that cannot give you any answer or reassurance with any degree of certainty!

So you had unprotected sex with a girl who is bipolar? And she is complaining the NEXT DAY of pregnancy symptoms? Hum..she might be pregnant, though I highly doubt that she knew the next day. She needs to go to the Dr. or Planned Parenthood to get a test-or you can buy one. Next, when and if she is pregnant, she needs to inform the Dr. of her current meds. If you do get the Plan B pill, she should ask the Dr. or nurse if it interacts with anything.

Condoms are cheap and free at PP. Why don't you stock up next time!?!

First of all dude you shouldn't have unprotected sex. PERIOD! It is highly unlikely that she would know this quickly. She may be pregnant from a previous encounter and he doesn't want to step up to the plate either. She obviously has mental issues and may be manipulating you.
Now for you... If you have sex and a child is conceived BE A MAN and take the responsibility and be a father or don't play the game. Abortion is not birth control!!!!!

go into the clinic and get the morning after pill. Dont wait longer then 48 hours or else it wont work, BTW the symptoms shes having are in her mind tell her to take a chill pill.

Do the morning after pill asap and wear a rubber next time if you are not ready to have a baby

She would not be feeling those the day after sex... The sperm is just getting into the egg and has not planted itself yet. Unless she wants to become pregnant and is having false pregnancy signs due to her mind playing games.... I would have her go see a Dr.....

Go to a Family Planning Clinic or see a doctor. The people here usually mean well, but they are in no way qualified to answer a serious question like this.
