It's so annoying I will walk into like the kitchen and he will just start saying random crap about football or basketball. Every single time someone walks into the room he will just start talking. It's like he just wants to hear himself talk. I've already told him a million times I don't care what he wants to say, that im not listening, but he still talks and talks forever about stupid stuff. What can I do to finally get him to shut up he is so annoying.
He's my twin brother....

Emawee, give him an EXTREMELY chewy biscuit so that he spends more time chewing and less time talking. Thank you and good day.

Sounds like he's just trying to have a conversation with someone. Try talking to him for a few minutes before heading off to do something else. And in those moments where he's NOT talking to you (you did say that it's anyone walking into the room) ignore it and move on. You may not care what he has to say, but someone else might?

I have to agree with paperpen above. You sound like one miserable little girl who needs to find herself a life. He's your brother and a decent sister would listen to him talking, just the same as you expect all the people on here to listen to your immature and selfish comments.
How would one get you to finally shut up?

Maybe if you listened to him and tried to have a good conversation, he would stop rambling. He may just be desperate for some attention and connection with you. Be grateful you have a brother that talks to you. I have to work really hard to get two words out of my brother.

in case you permit him be attentive to its annoying you, probability is he's getting the reaction he needs. So use the elevator technique. you be attentive to the way you push the button to call the elevator in a tall construction. What in case you keep pushing and it never got here down? finally you may walk the stairs or walk away astonishing? So permit him shop attempting to push your button. while he would not get the reaction he needs he will the two try some incorrect way or walk away. try it, it works!

Just deal with it... that's what everyone has to go through if they have brothers or sisters (you're not alone.) But if you think being the only child is fun, think again. BTW, how many time have you post this question? Stop repeating yourself!

Reverse it when he starts talking sports sit down by him and listen to him, you have already tried the other approach and it isnt working. go in his room and say hey lets watch sports center or play psp or something that he likes to do. act like your really interested and just keep talking to him ask him questions about sports during the games or sports highlights. and you will annoy him TRY IT!
last resort put hot sauce around his lips while he is sleeping!

You are a very angry girl. I would seriously seriously suggest getting someone professional to talk to.

I would say you're mean and nasty, but I really think you're very very angry. You're life sounds like pure hell and you need to fix it. I'm sorry dear, but others are not the problem, you are

Find him a friend, i know kids like this at school that just pester you thinking that you will be their friend. I'm not saying I'm mean or anything but, they really just need a friend. Or maybe you could take a few minutes, listen, understand and get your stuff done and he may stop or at least lighten up with it. =D
