I encourage her to eat more and I make her big dinners but she barely eats any of it and she is looking thinner and thinner every day. She refuses to go to the hospital with me. What more can I do?

I am 27 years old, and never have ever had sex before. never planned to either until I reached marriage. Me and my boyfriend were watching a movie on tv. Boom boom bam! My 16 year old step-daughter is a chronic liar who lies about important things (e.g., sexual acitivity) and unimportant things (e.g., food in her room). She comes from a troubled background and we just got custody of her about 14 months ago. Hubby and I have differing approaches when she lies and I would like to know your collective opinion of how to be approach this.

When we know she is lying, hubby prefers to just blurt out "Save it, I know you're lying, don't want to hear your crap". I, on the other hand, begin my case of showing her how I know she is lying, presenting the evidence to her, trying to get her to confess, etc. Suddenly I am in the middle of my very own case of "Law and Order" and I can't help but wonder if she enjoys all this focus I then have on her. Hubby says this is a huge waste of time and I am only frustrating myself (true, I guess). What would you do?

hi, my name is Kyler. i'm 16 and live in the projects of New York City with my mom and her many boyfriends. my life hasn't been a piece of cake so far. my mom is a call girl. i was her first child, and every time she got pregnant after that, she just had an abortion, and i'm sick of it. she has killed 8 of my potention siblings. well she's pregnant again, and i told her that i wasn't gonna let her kill it. and she said if i wanted it, i could have it. but she didn't want it in her house. i'm all for that. so what do i have to do to get custody of my mom's baby, and move out. legally. i know how to do it illegally, but the last thing i need is to be in trouble with the police. oh and i've looked around on here for a while before i actually asked or answered anything, and i noticed that on a lot of questions, people get answeres like "this isn't real" or "i don't believe that". well, i just want to say this is true, and if you're not gonna help me then please don't answer. thanks.

Petticoat punishment mean to put a boy in girls clothes as a punishment for bad behavior. Usually for being rude or disrespectful to a girl, or for bullying her. I was told this was common in England and in the USA many years ago and that today some mothers still use it, and think it's very effective. The intensity of the petticoating depends on the crime. Sometimes the boy has to wear only a feminine apron. When the offense is worse, his mom may make him wear full girls clothes, including bra and panties. I'm asking this because a friend of mine told me her mom is giving petticoat punishment to her 13 yo bro, because he was mean and disrespectful to her. At home the boy has to wear girls clotes, dressses, skirts, even bra and panties. I don't know if this is true. Anyway, is this legal? Can a mom make her son wear girls clothes regularly, on the street and to school? Or can she take him to a lingerie store to get a bra fit, for example? I guess this is illegal.

Mom is conservative and keeps a custom that at home, I and my lil sister have to wear a sweet frilly pinafore with a bow in the back. It's We gotta wear one all the time, even if we aren't doing kitchen chores. Mom also wears a pinafore like that, but isn't so strict w/ herself as she is w/ us. This is terribly embarrassing, we gotta wear them no matter who comes to the house. When my friends are over I get really embarrassed but it's a mom's law . She just says it's the right thing to do, every girl should wear those frilly pinafores and doesn't back off. Sometimes I even have to go out wearing one. I did everything to talk her out of this, she didn't back off. I even tried to rebel but shes my mom and I didn't succeed, got grounded and, of course, wearing my pinnies. How I can handle this situation? Am I stuck with my pinnies? She's a good mom, caring, nice, treats us with much love, but we gota wear those pinnies. Everybody says we look cute and sweet in them, but it's embarrassing

buy stuff from me. my friends and i want to go to camp this year (me, almost 16, David, just turned 15, and Jerry, 12, David's little brother), so instead of sitting on our butts complaining that we have no money we decided to earn it. we made a list of things that we can bake and are going around our church taking orders from people then we are going to bake and deliver the goods in june. we need $480 (plus extra for spending money), and have approx. 1 month to make it, they (my friends) live an hour away from me (we meet and talk at church). everybody we ask are only buying 1 $5 item. they won't buy any of the $6, 7, or, 8 goods, or more than 1 $5 item. we are not going to make it. how can we get them to buy more. we're kinda desperate here.

My son is 15 and he has alot of friends, every gender, every race, different schools, he gets along with everyone he is very popular. My concern is he doesn't have one good bud. I notice that most of the other kids do have that one other guy they hang out with and ride with etc, sometimes their neighbors sometimes their not. I wish he had that best friend to tell anything to or hang with the ladies, just someone he can really get to know and trust. I have talked to him about it and he says he's fine with it. But I notice when all the friends leave they pair off in two's and mine usually leaves alone. When I drop him off at places he is always alone until he hooks up with friends, when others come in twos. He is almost like the third wheel no matter who he is with. I feel bad for him. Am I making drama out of nothing or should I push the buddy issue a little more?

Ok here's what's going on! I HAVE to study until midnight tonight for a math test for some reason (that is not necessary to mention). I repeat, I HAVE to study until midnight, so don't tell me you shouldn't and you're going to fail yada yada yada.... And I have to wake up tomorrow at 7 am and my test is during the first period! What should I do? How can I take my test tomorrow without feeling tired? 7 hours of sleep won't be enough right? So what should I do or eat to stay productive during the test? PLEASE help, it is the last math test this year (excluding the finals)! So what do you suggest?

I lost count of how many times she has either lost or forgot her buspass. Today I told her she has to walk. (as of the past year i have been without a vehicle. So scrounging up a ride isn't easy and today noone is around anyway. I'm thinking maybe she'll learn to remember if she has to walk. Am I out of the ballpark? BTW she's 12 years old.

Im stuck babysitting my little sister and brother for the week, well just until Thursday, while my parents are out of town attending the funeral of one of my dads military buddies. Today they didnt have school cuz of the holiday so I let Shanna, my sister, go to a friends house 2 streets over while Nathan, my brother, and I played street hockey all day with some of his friends. Now her friends parents both work and they were alone most of the day. Apparently they got into the parents liquor cabinet and now Shanna is passed out on the couch. She didnt lie to me, she came right out and told me she "thinks she's drunk and gonna throw up" when I asked her what was wrong with her. She then laid on the couch and fell asleep. I cant get a hold of my parents but I do plan to let the friends parents know what happened. My question is, being that she's 14 and Im not my mom or my father, and cant get ahold of them, when she wakes up how should I handle this? Should I let it go? or what?

Hey i have a 14 year old son. He is a freshman in high school. He has delayed puberty which runs in our family and his doctor says he will develop normally. The problem is his peers constantly tease him... he gets teased about his high voice and short height, and lack of body hair. it really makes him feel bad. After PE they change in the locker rooms and guys make really mean comments about his small penis. They single him out and it really bothers him.
How can i help him with this issue?

My Parents dont trust me at all. I have never done ANYTHING that would cause that. A couple nights ago i wanted to have a camp out with my friend in her bakcyard but when my mom found out my friends little brother and his friend was going to be there she made me come right home. My parents are being jerks. I hate it. I can never do anything. Why are they like this? I know the , its not that they dont trust you its that they dont trust other people and the they are just trying to protect you theories but i think there is more to it than that.

I live in California, and I know the legal age to have sex is 18. But my girlfriend has got me real drunk one night and she seduced me into having sex with her on her 17th birthday. I feel really wrong that I have done this. Is there a way to get some sort of permission from her parents, so later if any issues, I wont be intangled in whatever might go wrong leagally. I think she truly loves me and has told me that she was saving herself for me. And on her birthday, she actually did. Being 20 I wanted to wait for her until next year, but she sort of insisted.
