First off... you are 20 and she is 17. Just kissing her is illegal. You should be dating girls your own age and not dating a teenage girl.
Second... regardless of what her parents say... leagally, you can be arrested even with "consent" of her parents. The only way that you wouldn't be arrested if she was an immancipated minor. That way she would be seen as a leagal adult even though she is 17.
You need to get another girlfriend so you don't put your future into jeopardy.

Im sure you are getting tired of hearing you had sex with a child blah blah well sorry it is true and being in the Army I know that you were trained. It is against military law for you to have sex with anyone under the age of 18 even with her parents consint. If she ends up pg. then you have a whole nother issue you could always marry her but the person who stated the 3 yr rule is correct the grand jury will probably throw this out because there is such a law. But even to get married her parents whould have to sign the papers. YOu need to worry about the military more than you need to worry about civilian laws the military is more strict and can hurt you alot worse. If this is your chosen carrier be more careful in you decisions and drinking is not an excuse for anything you do.

18 is not the legal age to have sex, it's the legal age of majority, meaning anyone under 18 is considered to be a child, and anyone over 18 is an adult.
For you, this means that, from a legal standpoint, you, as an adult, have had sex with your girlfriend, a child.
The fact that you were drinking together is also illegal, as neither of you are of legal age to drink alcohol, which is 21.
You cannot get permission from her parents and have it be legally binding. The only thing you can do legally to protect yourself, would be to marry her, and her parents would need to legally approve of that.
Even after you are married, you could still be charged with statutory rape for this incident.
If it makes you feel any better, it's mostly the parents that report these things, so if they like you, you will probably be okay.

First off yall are too young to be associated with alcohol. You should have been more mature and responsible so this wouldn't have happened. If she gets pregnant and they find out unless you try to run off they probably would file charges against you. Now if you piss your girlfriend off and she crys wolf your in deep crap! I would keep her happy for the next year and then take it from there. She then will be legal.

Sorry to say if this does happen you can go to jail for Statutory Rape... She has no say in the matter she is under the legal age. It all falls on your shoulders. You could tell her parents and risk it Or deal with the guilt and fear for another year. But I do believe that the Statue of Limitations is 3 yrs... so they could still file.... good luck

If you are serious about this girl, which it seems like you are, then I think you are mature enough to speak with her parents about this issue. Even if your girlfriend doesn't necessarily agree, it sounds like you're a saint compared to most 20 year old guys I know and remember from when I was that age (only 7 yrs ago). You can ask her dad to go to lunch with you one day, and tell him you want to be honest and open with him because you know that she is underage, and you don't want to take advantage of their daughter. Tell her father that you two are in a serious relationship, and if he would like you two to wait, then you will. She can wait, trust me. If she can't wait on you to return, then it wasn't meant to be, and you can walk away knowing you have a clear conscience and are a respectable man.

Oh my you are in some serious trouble. You defiantly need to not drink and keep her super happy. Yeah you have a little problem and you might think about talking to an attorney just in case so it is noted now.

One word. Romeo and Juliet laws, three years apart, you will be fine. Don't listen to some of the mothers on here, they just wish to keep their daughters in diapers till 25.
