Parents have custodial rights to their children, so if they do have a baby, they will both have rights to see the child.
This said, your friend's parents have the right to prevent them from seeing each other until they are 18. Neither can be charged with statutory rape, since they are both minors.
One thing they can do is petition the Court to be declared independent minors. This allows them to have some of the liberties than adults do, such as sign papers for an appartment, a job or a bank account, to make it possible for them to live on their own if that's what they want to do.
Nevertheless, the Court will not declare youths independent minors unless it is satisfied that it's in the youths' best interest. Most commonly, it is when the youth come from extremely abusive households, and no one in their right minds would want them to depend on unfit parents.
From what you describe, it sounds as if these parents care very much for their children, and do want the best for them. Also, if they got themselves with child at 15, I doubt any court would find them mature and responsible enough to be declared independent.
I sincerely hope gf isn't pregnant. Personally, if she were my daughter, I don't think I would want her to continue seeing someone with whom she is engaging in irresponsible sexual practices. And if the guy were my son, not only would I be seriously upset with him, but I would ENTIRELY respect the wishes of the girl's parents and agree to keep the two apart, at least until they grow up a little more.

Their parents can keep them apart all they want - they are 15 and the parents still have the say so. The parents cannot prevent the father from seeing the baby but they can stop the father from seeing the mother. In my state whether or not a teen is or isnt a parent they have no say but some states do emancipate teen parents - but more dont do this than do.
In either case until the baby is born the parents are in control.

I don't know the law completely. But legally, parents 'own' you and can keep you from seeing anyone until the age of 18. In fact, they can sometimes be held responsible for things their children do until they are 18. If the child was determined by DNA test once it is born to be the other 15 year olds child, I dont think the parents would be able to keep the father from the child. But I do not know for sure.

Hey,
Who knows what love is at 15?
Seriously at 15 does the mom really think the dad is going to stick around?
He might until he's 21 and able to go clubbing and realise what he's missing out on being a daddy...
Who's going to support this baby?
Why should the parents have to have the responsibility of having another newborn in their house or for them to look after?
Having a baby is a very serious thing...They arn't cute and fun all the time they are pains at 3am when they want to play and not sleep...They are such hard work!

At age 15 by law they are "minors" which means children, so it's not illegal to keep them apart. As for keeping them from seeing parents, this is a matter for the court to decide on an individual basis.

Until they turn 18, their parents can keep them apart all the want. Just because the pair was totally irresponsible doesn't mean they suddenly get more rights. Once the baby is born, both of the irresponsible pair has the right to see the baby, but still not each other till their 18th birthday.

Parents have the right to try to protect their children. Both kids are under the age of consent. They don't even know if she's pregnant, but if she is, I hope they have the maturity to give it up for adoption. They are too selfish to try to raise a child.

They need to see a judge and get adult rights and place to live. get jobs at a groery store or something. They did the deed and now they should have responibility for the baby no matter what. good luck to them. They are same age and if consented should be fine!
