I'm not sure if the dr tested my quant or qual for the blood test. What should I do...what do you girls think? Has this ever happened to any of you and then found out you were in deed preggo?

I love my black eyeliner. Heavy makeup is my style. It's ME. Everyone I know tells me it looks horrible on me. I wish people would STOP! Why can't they just accept me for who I am? I don't even think the eyeliner is that bad. Does it really look that bad?

My friend just called me to tell me she woke up bleeding. It was more than spotting but no clots or real heavy bleeding. She can definatley feel small gushes. She hit a deer last night and crumpled her van up, but she called the doctor and they said that if there wasnt any major impact and no airbags deployed then that wouldnt have anything to do with it. Has anyone carried a baby successfully, and had a light period type bleeding? She is so sad, and I told her to think positively, but its kind of hard to, and her husband is mad at her, because her gloomness is messing up his day.(he is a real jerk!)

::iam NOT trying to sound like a le leche freak, or post holier than thou questions::

Health reasons aside, why choose bottles over breast?

I jsut got done reading something with the world census thing, and doing a little research. America has the HIGHEST infant mortality rate of all the industrialized nations. Thats insane, and they say its because all other countries tend to have much higher rates of breastfeeding verses formula.

I think its unfair that hospitals and doctors dont provide education and support to moms. Every mom wants to provide the very best, and its not fair that commercial entities and cultural taboo's are allowed to steal the best from our children.

On top of all that, some states and counties are MAKING IT ILLEGAL to nurse in public.. WTF?!

It just bothers me that we cant provide the best.

People in saudi arabia have healthier babies than us for cripes sake. Theres something wrong here.

Haha!! sorry, i am driving you guys nuts today!! i am at work, and bored :) anyway, for the last week or so, i have been feeling these like little movements coming from the baby.. at first i just thought it was little gurgly gassy bubble things.. but it is continuing.. and i am not gassy.. YAY!! for my husband..lol!! anyway, is this the "fluttering" sensation they are talking about? I thought it was supposed to feel like a butterfly.. i pictured it more like little tickles (sorry, this is my first) so is this fluttering?? and if so, how long after does the first kick usually occur? What did yours feel like, and when was it in relation to your first kick? thanks!!

My husband and I are having a discussion at the moment over whether or not to circumcise our baby if it's a boy. He wasn't done so he sees no reason to be done but I know a lot of other people who insist that it's cleaner and that women who won't date men who haven't been circumcised. What do you think? Men who've been circumcised, do you regret it?

I have a friend that has tried many punishments with her 14 year old daughter. Well she began to try alternate methods because everything else wasnt working. Well she found out her daughter she spanked her younger brother so she pulled her over her knea and spanked her. she make quite a scene. through a fit like a 3 year old afterwards. My friend said she was acting like a baby and she would be punsihed as such if she did it again. she told her she wouldnt dare. Well her son has had bed wetting problems and her daughter started to pick on him and spanked him for it when she wasn't there. well sure enough she took her over her knea again and she through a fit like 3 year old again. she told her i warned you and pulled out diapers. she diapered her and she spent the weekend around the house in a diaper and t-shirt. needless to say she never spanked her brother again or picked on him.

I have a 17 month old little girl and she really doesn't like milk so she doesn't drink very much of it. She probably drinks 4-5oz a day. It that ok or should I try to make her drink more? Is there anything I could give her instead? She likes yogurt and cheese is that enough calcium?

I'm researching this the topic of stay-at-home dads. Many seem to pooh-pooh the idea, but I'm interested to find out what you women think. Would you encourage your husbands to be stay-at-home dads? Or would you prefer to let them be the breadwinners? And why?

My period started 10 Aug 07. It's a mixture of reddish and brownish in color. At the same time, I caught with a flu all of a sudden. Today, 12 Aug 07, there's only left with brownish stain of my menses.
I've been experiencing shorter days of my period for the past 2 months. Is this somehow part of pregnancy symptoms?
Ever did a couple of home pregnancy tests few months back, but all turned out neg. Haven't test since then.
I'm not sure if I'm preggy or not. Very confused.
