Okay, this is a touchy issue. The media is completely corrupting your children. They encourage them to be violent, disruptive, and dissuades them from studying. However, the main issue I am concerned about is the promotion of promiscuity. It seems as though American girls have too much sex, at too young an age. It is as though they are treated as peice of trash rather than human beings with emotions. I don't understand why the American parents don't try to change that. What do you think?

What are your thoughts about putting rice cereal in the baby's bottle?

Me, I am against it, but my bf is getting mad cause I won't do it. He says he wants a say in what his son eats, but he does eat it from a spoon. He also wanted to give it to him when he was 2 weeks old, and I said no, he got mad. He said his mom did it.

Hi!
We want to get married but I am pregnant. With that, it is very inconvenient to have a reception, plus my father most likely will not be able to attend since he is out of country anyways.

I was thinking if it is ok to have the actual ceremony in 2008...hm during winter? That way baby will be almost 1 year old.....
What do you think?

Me and my best friend Maisie turn sixteen in a little more than ten months and we want to have our party together(again).

We want to have it at the town park down the road(walking distance) from five in the evening until nine at night. We live in a very small town with only a store and a post office with a little less than 500 people. We thought we might just do it like a get-together or a adance. I was thinking I would DJ it myself (I have speakers, fog machines, other lights and stobe lights). I would buy all drinks and snacks myself too, like soda and chips. What do you think? What else that I can I do without spending much more money? A total 15 or so kids.

I am white and I have a 1 month old black foster son. Any time I take him into public the older black women yell at me and tell me that I better cover his face from the breeze (in 90 degree weather) or he will get colic. They also say that having him out in night air will cause colic. I just laugh cause I think it's silly. Have you ever heard this? Why do people think this?

imagine yourself in this situation.
a ninteen year old girl. three months pregnant by a man who is fighting in Iraq. he doesnt know about the baby. she's affraid to tell him and upset him. her parents are willing to take her in. she wants to support herself and the baby. abortion is not even a question. she works with animals and can make a nice living. does the baby need more then a mother? should the man be told? he is loved and loves her but he doesnt want children yet...or so he said last time it was brought up. will he be more mad if i tell him now or just go about it as if he isnt the father and he may find out somehow later......? what would you do??????????

If your at planned parenthood? I'm 14 so does that mean I have to have an adult? How long does it take? Yes the sex was protected and if your pro life don't answer. If you are against abortions don't get one.

Okay, so I'm 13 y/o and a girl. And I'm reading these questions on Y!A and I'm like astounded. There are 13 y/o girls who are letting boys feel them up and stuff. What is up with that? You're THIRTEEN! Not 20. Sorry if you didn't get that memo, we thought you knew. Does anyone agree with me?

He's 14 months old and he expresses his enthusiasm by hitting, usually in the face. He's ALL boy!! I don't think he hits to be violent, he just knows no other outlet for his excitement. Also, anyone lying on the floor is fair game to be "wrestled". How can I curb the violence?

My mom never used them with me and my siblings, and she seems disappointed in a way that I just assumed I would use them with my baby. She also was strict with us about taking the bottle away for good at our first birthday. I was just curious to know for moms who do you a binkie, when did you introduce it, and when did you take it away? did you feel it was beneficial to use one??

I am not sure how all of this works. I know at one year he is supposed to start drinking milk but he doesn't like anything cold. What has been your experience? Also, what portions do you recommend when weaning from breastmilk to cow's milk?

We're so close! We're at 35 weeks and the C-section is planned for 38 weeks. :-)

I'm a natural planner, so now I'm preparing recipies and such for the first few months after the baby. I'm going to breastfeed as well.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to get back into a healthy routine? Since my hubby works at Weight Watchers, I get free access to their site and they have a program for lactating women.

I'm anticipating little exercise (other than getting out of bed) for the first 6 weeks after the baby, especially since I know from experience that I'm going to be exhausted from the baby and still healing from the surgery. Also, breastfeeding will help get the weight off, but let's be honest--that body just doesn't always bounce back!

I've only gained 17 pounds thus far, so I'm not TOO concerned about the weight. I'm just ready to get my body back!

ANY advice would be great!

I'm not obsessing, just ready to have a waist again. :-)
