I have known at least two Tristans from school (I'm in my 30s) and I also know a few in my niece's school. It is not too trendy and has a nice ring to it. I am not a huge fan of the middle name..but I know that folks have various reasons for choosing these things. Is this for a boy or a girl BTW? Tristan is def. more of a boy name but these days, anything goes! My son is Noah and I just saw where Billy Ray Cyrus has a daughter with this name!

I think the name Tristan is adorable but I'm not a fan of the middle name Jace. How about Tristan Michael or Tristan Mitchell?

I hope you are talking about a boy.

I like Tristan. Not keen on Jace.

Like it with Jace since Tristan doesn't really come with any nicknames, so he'll have "T.J." with Jace!

I like Tristan although it's a little feminine, Tristam or Tristram is a bit manlier and Jace is pretty feminine too. I think it won't be a manly name for him.

It's not bad. It has a nice flow to it.

I prefer Tristan James

I like the name Tristan, but it means something like sorrowful, which isn't what I want to wish on a son, yk?

No. Bear in mind your child will have this name for the rest of his life. You need something a little less trendy. A name he won't be embarrassed by or have to spell for everyone. Kids will call him "Triscuit." Or "Biscuit." Jace is not a good name for middle name either. Same reasons as before. Jason would be a good alternative.
