I love my black eyeliner. Heavy makeup is my style. It's ME. Everyone I know tells me it looks horrible on me. I wish people would STOP! Why can't they just accept me for who I am? I don't even think the eyeliner is that bad. Does it really look that bad?

you really shouldnt care about what other people say, honestly i think you look beautiful. its not bad at all, and if someone says something to you, just tell them your sorry they feel that way. and thats that. dont let stupid people say anything to bring you down okay? i'd accept you for you. so just be yourself and dont worry about what others have to say. =) hope i helped

I was expecting something far more dramatic going on with your makeup after that build up. You must have some pretty lame friends if they think that is heavy eyeliner. You look fine, and it is not over done at all from the picture you displayed.

I honestly don't think you wear that much from your picture. Looks like a normal amount to me.

I'm like you too. I don't wear heavy makeup really but I love eyeliner. But I know what you mean with your friends, it does get annyoying when they have to comment on your makeup every day like "I used to wear eyeliner but then.." or "Are you wearing makeup" or the ever so popular "You look bad with it today". Grr I'm just like shut up.

I just piss them of by saying things you "I think you should invest in some makeup, it'd REALLY help you" 0and stuff lol. I just try not to let them get the best of me. Just ignore what they say, because their just jealous!

it doesnt look bad at all if you like eyeliner then wear it i mean its your eyes and your choice right??? they arent getting up in the morning and putting it on for you! but you might want to try this... instead of bblack try a brown eyeliner...I have heard when you have blue eyes wear brown liner to make your eyes seem more blue, also instead of going completely around the eye, do the full upper line and for the bottom start on the outside and get thinner and thinner and end in the middle of the eye.

for those people just saw i dont care its my face... but what i think those people are saying is they thinks it is to harsh but if you like it or love it i would gowith it but dont be afraid to try new things that you could like better...

hey i say wear it and just tell those people i like it so tough (but u know in a nicer way) and ignore them!

thanks!
good luck!
you look really great dont worry!

Everyone has their own style. You look great. As long as you feel good about yourself and confident in who you are, that's more important that what your make-up looks like. You are a beautiful girl, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Chances are as you grow older your style will change and people may not like that either. Your true friends will always love and support you. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. If your parents don't like it, that's just parents being parents. There is always something we don't like our kids to do, clothes they wear, or make-up they put on. But they are your parents and they will always love you even if they don't like something you do. You are beautiful. Believe in yourself.

To those that say something to you just simply say, "That's ok. It's my style, not yours. But thank you for noticing."

to be honest, it doesn't look all that bad, although it does make you look like a silly, inexperienced teenager. If you wanted to look older, I'd lighten up the under-eye liner... this would also brighten up your face and make you look older, wiser and more respected. (would make you look prettier and you might actaully get glances from older men.. you are a pretty girl but you have "teenager" written all over you with eye liner like that. The key to a striking look is to look natural like you are not wearing any makeup at all!)
You will someday look back on these photos and agree with me. good luck!
Trust me.. i am 26 and have a gorgeous husband.... i had to learn these tricks as well as I was the same as you!

The eyeliner actually accentuates your eyes! I do not see a problem with it and it really is not that heavy at all I have seen worse!

you shouldn't change how you look because of people thinking that you look terrible. Just continue to be who you are, and not worry about what people think of you. It's not like you are projecting yourself in a negative way.

Anyway, the eyeliner doesn't look bad.

What?? They think it looks bad!? You look really good like that, when I was reading it I thought you would look scary. But you look really pretty like that! I had a friend (Not my friend anymore)and whatever I did she would say it looked horrible. I straightened my hair, she'd be like "eww!" I curled my hair she'd be like "that's ugly". Whatever I did she still said it looked bad. Finally I realized she must be jealous or just plain mean. Tell the people, "if you don't like it then that's just to bad. It's me, take it or leave it!" I know it's kind of harsh but it'll make them understand. :-)
