She is very secretive about what she's doing on there. She uses the site under an assumed name, so I can't even check that way. Should I even want to check? She excells in every other area and I have no reason not to trust her, but there's a little voice in my head that keeps nagging me with questions like: Why doesn't she want me to see what she's doing, etc. I've asked her and she assures me there's nothing to worry about.
I've thought about restricting her use, but I trust her and don't want her to think that I don't. Anybody else going through this?

The directions on the ovulation kit says let the test run the full 10 mintues. Is it normal that when the test is complete and the 10 mintues is over that the testing line will be really darker than the control line? I watched the test for 20 minutes and got a negitive. Then I forgot to throw it away and I found it sitting in the bathroom the next day so I look at it again and the testing line was really really darker than the control. Is this normal? Any info? Thank You.

I did a transvaginal ultrasound and no heartbeat was found. Sac was big but fetus was only around 5 weeks and doctor said that it has not grown. He suggest a D&C so that my womb will not be affected. I still have some pregnancy symptoms and huge appetite. Should I wait to miscarry naturally or have a D&C?

I know a woman has very high hCG levels when she is pregnant, but i am curious if it is always there and is just heightened during pregnancy or if it is a hormone generated from being pregnant

My 10 year old just asked me this question:

"Mom? When people get divorced, why do the kids usually go with the mom? Do dad's not care as much?"

How would you answer this?

I just had my period for 4 days but it was two weeks late. Therefore, I took a HPT and it was negative-twice. My stomach was bloated, more than PMS, and my boobs have swelled up. That doesn't usually happen for my PMS. Could it be pregnancy or just bad PMS?

Im looking for women that have done it and do you recommend it? My son was an emergency c section because he and I both had very elevated heart rates and he was in distress, The doctor didn't know why so she did the section to be safe. Turned out I had a severely overactive thyroid (Grave's disease)that was undiagnosed, probably why my and my son's heart rates were so elevated. Labor was progressing just fine though. I labored at home for as long as I could before I even went to the hospital. I didn't find the c section to be that bad, I recovered nicely from it but now I am 34 years old and Im afraid of the complications that could arise from the c section. I am an RN in an ICU and I see every surgery complication that could happen. We rarely get an OB patient but it does happen. I think Im just looking for some comfort because I really want to do it and would like to hear some success stories.

I've read that now most doctors are saying that instead of going by physical age to determine when to give a baby solids, that you should go by developmental age. When a baby can sit supported, then you should start them on cereal and "First foods". My son is three months old and can sit supported, he even pulls himself up into a sitting position(he can maintain it for about five seconds) BUT I thought you were supposed to wait until 4 months to start with the cereal and baby food. Should I start giving my son some cereal or should I wait another month? I do have a call in to his doctor and should be hearing from them this afternoon. Just wanted to hear some other mothers' opinions.

And do you expect them to pay you back? My mom used to help me whenever she thought I needed it! It was like she was physic or something?!!! She would never let me repay her, she said when my kids were older then I'd have to help them & that would be the way I'd repay her. I'd like to "repay" my mom now by helping my children! My daughter is 20 & I don't help her as much as I think I should cuz I don't have much to spare, but sometimes I think if I just cut back a little on food or something around here, I could help her out more. I also have a 4 & 6yr old at home now though, so that makes it hard! I know my 20 yr old is going thru tough times right now, any other ways I could help her besides money?

Ok, I'm almost a teenager, and my mom is JUST having her 2nd child. I have the much appreciated task of selecting a name for my new sibling. There's just one problem. I'm freaking!
I need help in getting a cute, nice, but not babyish name. Theres some specifics, though: It must start with either N or M. We tend to favor N, because both my mom and I have names that start with M, and my dad's name starts with N so we want to balance it out. We do not know if it's a boy or girl, the can't tell by the ultra-sound yet. We'd like a name of Indian origin, cause my family is half-indian, but it doesn't HAVE to be. Please help me. Take your time to think about it, I have until the 15th of August to submit my name to mom and dad. So far we've come up with Nirvan for a boy and Nirvana for a girl. If possible, but you don't have to, include meanings and origins. Thanks in advance!

I argued with a friend of mine that two babies born in the same woman could grow up and get married without committing incest. I said as long as both eggs came from two OTHER different women and both sperm came from OTHER different men. basically speaking, we have 5 parties involved. he told me that no matter what, it was still incest. i said no way, nobody's sharing DNA! can somebody tell me what's what?
