I have read through some of your other questions. It sounds like this pregnancy has been an unexpected and one that you might not be too terribly thrilled about. However, the baby inside of you needs prenatal vitamins and prenatal care. It will be so much harder on you if your baby is born with problems. There are lots of options to you if you can't afford care. You can go to the local health dept., or a doctors free clinic. You can also visit a doctors office and set up a payment plan.

I also read that you do not like doctors. Well, in your condition you can't avoid them forever. So you might as well set up an appt. get the vitamins and care that your baby needs. It might help to talk to a midwife, you could find a local one in your area through the phone book.

DON'T put the care of your child off any more!! It will be better for you and your baby in the long run if you take responsibility now. Good Luck!!

The purpose of prenatal care is to monitor the baby as your pregnancy progresses. They check to make sure the baby is growing properly and help you as far as ensuring you are taking care of yourself properly for the baby. I would not recommend skipping out on the prenatal care. I hope you're not going to skip out but if you do, I recommend you at least take prenatal vitamins.

Do you not have insurance right now? I did my own prenatal care for the first seven months of my third pregnancy. You definitely need to be well informed and know what the symptoms of possible complications are. Take vitamins that are the equivalent dosage of prenatals. Follow a good pregnancy diet. Weigh yourself regularily and keep track of it on a chart. Take your blood pressure on a regular basis. My husband even heard the heatbeat at home with a stethoscope. Go to a doctor if your blood pressure is up or you have headaches or a fever or any other symptom that seems worrisome.

Your last question and this question is ridiculous!! If you dont want to take care of your self then you and the baby are the ones who have to suffer the consequences!! But on your part not getting prenatal care and taking your vitamins (last question) is a stupid decision.

You could have a missed miscarriage where you don't know it happened because you don't have any bleeding but the baby stopped growing. You could have a miscarriage and expeal the fetus. The baby could have birth defects that you wouldn't know anything about. The baby may be breech and would cause trouble at delivery. There could be something wrong your uterus or water and not know it. You could have high blood pressure. Not dialate.....I can go on and on....you need pernatal care. IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU ITS ABOUT YOUR BABY!!!

yes and no....
things can still happen to the baby or you, but at least you will be under the care of the doctor. There are preventative things that you get when you are under the care of the doctor that will protect the baby and the mother.

Of course.

You'd be missing out on what could be very important treatment during your child's development. With no one there to catch complications... all kinds of things could happen to you or the child. Or you could have a perfectly normal pregnancy and have a healthy baby.

But why would you risk it?
