Pregnancy & Parenting - 10 July 2007

I posted a question last night and this morning with regard to a second faint pink line on a First Reponse test last night..my question was entitled "Doubts regarding a HPT".....my wife just rang me there...she took another test about 20 mins ago (Clear Blue) and it was positive...looks like we're pregnant! As I said before, she miscarried at 8 weeks back in March - it was her first pregnancy...is there anything we can/should do this time around...I know we can't really prevent what nature intends but to reassure ourselves perhaps? I'm hopefully going to be a Daddy and I can't wait! :-) I'm assuming if all goes well her due date would be last week of March 2008? Her last period started on 11th June and she was due there on 9th July.

ply kids with endless biscuits and chocolate, tutting at the mother who says 'they're not allowed', then in the next breath tell you how to feed them healthily and how to punish by with-holding treats!? Also, they preach about the best way to discipline, doling out the knowledge, then completely undermine you when you actually do it! Weird.

okay, I'm 26 yrs old before everyone starts to wonder...I want to have a baby and we've been trying now for about a year and nothing can anyone help me out and let me know what are some great methods of becoming prego? I'm constantly baby sitting a 2 Y.O and I have alot of my old "see spot run books" every so often she'll pick them up and read them, not make up stories actually read the sentences. I was wondering if it's healthy for her or should I stop it?

I had sex with my GF 5 days before (Say 5th July). Her Period should start on 10th July. She is saying that she did not have period till now. can you have any signs of implantation at 13 DPO(days past ovulation)? i had cramp from 8-11 DPO, but no cramps today (just a little tugging in the middle of my stomach below my belly button). I also had some creamy, milky like discharge.

I just had my doctor's appointment and the doctor checked my cervix and found out that it was closed and I have to go back on Thursday to have the doctor check again. The doctor was going to induce me, but i have no idea right now. The doctor is planning on another ultrasound because he can't tell if the baby has turned yet and I think if she hasn't turned why can't he just schedule me for a c-section to get it over with instead of waiting another week. My due date is July 14th, just so you know. I am wanting to have my baby now. Should I tell my doctor how I feel about how this is going or what?

I dont know about you but I am a strict diciplinarian when it comes to my children espescially in terms of obediance to Christ. I urge my children too say their prayers every night before bedtime and everynow and then they refuse and throw a big fit. I have learned that if I put them in front of the tv set and force them to watch the exorcist after explaining that Satan will possess them like he did to the girl in the movie and make their little heads spin around while they puke up green slime, they usually break down and say their prayers. Sometimes I put a demon mask on and jump out of their closets with a pitch fork when I catch them not praying lol. It really seems to scare them though they have learned to be obedient to Christ so I am doing a fine job. Why can't more parents do what I am doing?

i am 26 and my husband is 28. we have been married for eight years and we have two boys ages 4 and 6.

we have been talking about having another child, but my husband wants to wait at least another two years... he wants to pay off our credit card bills and most of our debts.

i think we should have a baby sooner, since our kids are getting older... we are ok money wise but not that well off, i know that we have a lot of debt and both of our children are in a private school and of course another baby means we will have more bills and i probably wont be back to work in a while.

i know that he makes sense but i think that we will really never be ready, and if we keep waiting we will never have another one...

how can i convince him to go for it now?

It isn't as simple as giving it up for adoption.

She will form a bond with the child while it is in her.

I am not the victim, but what about me having to raise a child that is NOT my biological child.

Am I to love this child the same way I love my first born?

Why should she be put through hell because of a child that is not hers.

Why should I have to raise a child that is not mine.

Why should we have to be financially crushed because of this.

This rapist ruined more lives than he can possible imagine.

REMEMBER... My wife WILL form a bond if she goes through with this and adoption will NOT be an option. I KNOW MY WIFE.
