Your baby is probably growing and moving around causing you some discomfort. It could also be GAS/INDIGESTION. When I was pregnant - oh so many moons ago - I loved olives so much. I would eat at least one bottle per day - and on anything. My doctor told me that I was suffering some indigestion and to knock it off with the olives. When I did - the pain in my back and chest - went away.

On a serious note however, check with your doctor.

Everything is getting squished in there and it might be causing you some chest pains. The back pain is probably due to the added weight. Also you might want to change the type of bra you are wearing. I found it easier to wear a sports bra but even then it can constrict to much and I will have to take it off in order for chest pain to go away. Ask you doctor if it continues to bother you or if it gets worse. Good luck!

Hi- I experienced this when I was pregnant. It was the result of bad heartburn. Take a couple of Tums or Rolaids and see if you feel a little better. If not, ask your doctor. As the baby begins to move and stretch more, it could also be putting pressure on your diaphragm which can irritate your back/chest. From what I experienced, it's normal, but you might as well bring it up at your next exam.

Hi. I had the same thing with my first baby, it was horrible, It ended up where I had trouble breathing, rib pains throughout my pregnancy... all you CAN do is find the most comfortable position and rest there, and as soon as you can tell the doctor its horrible and affecting how you live.... talk him into giving you a pain killer if it is that bad, i wouldn't take it, so I suffered, but it's just the baby, your body is different then other women so it could be back labor in 5 months... or you could be fine... just pains hun, it hurts and itll be over soon.

Go see a Dr. but it might just be that your baby is getting bigger and baby is pushing on your organs. But I don't think that the chest pains are normal only if you have other health problems. This is common with people that have or had eating disorders.

If the pain is sharp and muscular it could be your muscles separating - I had this with my first pregnancy and it varied between annoying and downright painful. You can get a velcro belly belt and wear it about the bottom of your ribs - that was the only thing that gave me any relief...

Yes. The doctor. You should see some medical specialist for this instead on here. I hope everything is okay and turns out to be nothing serious.
